After science, I had math class then it was finally a class I actually liked. Lunch!
I sat down at the 'popular' table, as some would call it. Abby and Shayna were already there. I had math class with Madison, so she was with me. We got into the lunch line, saving May and Paige a spot in line with us. We all started to get our food and May and Paige soon joined us. I got chicken nuggets, a salad and an iced tea. We all finished getting our food and sat down at our table. We talked and gossiped about boys, work, teachers, what we were doing after school, secrets and all that stuff. Finally we finished our food as we were talking about boys. That reminded me, I had to talk to Blake.
"Shay, do you still want me to talk to him for you?" I whispered to her.
She nods her head.
"Girls! We have a mission," I announced. The talking stopped and all eyes were on me. I lowered my voice and continued, so the tables around us didn't hear. I didn't really have to since the chatter at the cafeteria was deafening, but just in case. "We need to talk to Blake, he is ignoring Shayna. Shayna stay here, troops come with me." I said. We did these things a lot, and we made it sound like an army mission just for fun. We got up and walked to the popular boys' table. We surrounded the edge of the table and I slammed my hands down on the table, making the boys look at me.
"What exactly do you think your doing?" I asked, keeping a straight face.
"Eating lunch." The Beta replied.
"Not you! Blake! Why are you ignoring her?!" I whisper-yelled.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"You walked away from her when she tried to talk to you and keep ignoring her!" I said.
"Look, it's her birthday coming up, and I'm planning a surprise party for her. I know if she talks to me I'll spill. I'm just not going to talk to her until the party. It's on Friday, you guys in?" He said.
"Oh... Yeah of course." I said.
"Good, don't tell her. I'll text you and we can meet at my house to plan." He said. There were multiple 'ooohs' and teases from the other boys, but we ignored them.
"Cool." I said and walked back to our table.
"So what'd he say?" Shayna asked.
"He's being a jerk. He said you were ignoring him. You should just leave him alone, let him come to you. Trust me, it'll work." I explained. I felt a little bad for lying, but it was for the party. Shayna was only 17 and her birthday is on Sunday. I am going to throw her I giant surprise party. Blake's idea is awesome! My girls and I can throw an amazing party for her. It's going to be awesome!
The bell rang and we went to our lockers. Next I had social studies. Great. Note the sarcasm. But after social, I had art! I love art. I can just express myself, show the world what I can do. I am pretty good artist, and right now we were working on making canvasses that show emotion. I was making a picture of a woman holding a mask up to her face. The woman was crying, while the mask she held up was smiling. The picture means no matter how hard you try to change who you are, your always the same person. I can relate to that, and that's why I drew it.

Social dragged on and on and art flew by way too fast. My last class of the day was P.E. I liked P.E. Most people would think girls are weak and pathetic, they can't do a single push-up. But P.E proves we're not. I hate stereotypes. They are so stupid. Girls can do push-ups, girls can fight. We are strong, in fact my girls and I are probably the strongest people in class, along with the popular boys.
I also love volleyball, badminton, soccer and dodgeball. Right now we were doing a unit in volleyball. Volleyball is my favourite sport out of all of them.
We changed into short shorts and our gym shirts and put on runners. I put my hair up in a ponytail and jogged into the gymnasium. I stood against the wall to start our warmup. But of course we had to wait for the rest of the class.
Once everyone is here, we start our warmup. It consists of running the other side of the gym, doing an excersise back, running back to the other side, doing another excersise back and repeat. After that, we do a core routine which is planks, planks with one arm, planks with one arm and one leg, planks on the side and holding a plank for an entire minute.
Finally we were done our warmup. Next we had a twelve minute run, which is where you have to run consistently for 12 minutes around the gym. Most people stop to walk a couple times, but I never stopped. I hated running, but I could run for a pretty long time.
Finally we got to play a game of volleyball. I started out as the setter. It was girls vs boys. The boys got to serve first. Paige, Madison and Shayna were all in my P.E class, but unfortunately May and Abby weren't. We were all on the team at the moment, and two other girls were on the court at the moment. I think ones name is Grace, and I know the other one is Natasha. Grace was kind of a nerd, and Natasha was the leader of another popular group. They are rude and snotty. At least to us they are. Natasha tries to be cool and smart but she honestly sucks at sports and is kind of dumb. Jordan, the third in command of this pack serves first. He easily gets it over the net, and it heads straight for a gap in between Shayna and Paige.
"Got it!" Paige yells and bumps it to me.
"Yeah!" I call out claiming the ball. I set it to Shayna, who smashes it almost straight down the other side of the net. The boys were too slow to get to it, and the point was ours.
...
As we were changing from P.E, we congratulated each other on the win. We had won by three points against the boys. I finish changing and walk out of the bathroom with Abby. We head to home room and grab our backpacks. We pack them up and sling them over our shoulders. We sit at a table. Abby has E.L.A homework to do, and I have nothing. It turns out Maddy has no work to do so I talk with her. Finally the bell rings and we all head home.
...
Like.
I double tapped Paige's selfie she had just posted on Instagram to like it. I was just scrolling through Instagram on my bed. It was 9:30 and I was tired but I couldn't sleep. I can never sleep until it's at least past 12:00. It must be a sleeping disorder or something because I've never been able to sleep until it's past twelve since I was little. So, I lay in my bed on my phone. I get bored of Instagram and decide to talk to my wolf, Winter. I haven't talked to her all day.
'What's up?'
'I have a bad feeling.' She says.
'What do you mean?'
'I don't know I just have a bad feeling.'
'That's weird.' I say.
'I know.'
'It's probably nothing.' I try to reassure her.
'Maybe...' She says.
A couple hours passed of Winter and I talking. I heard a howl outside as I finally fell asleep.
...
"Wake up! Skyler wake up! We need to go!" My Mom yells at me.
I sit up in my bed rubbing my eyes.
"Mom, what's the panic about? Calm down." I tell her groggily.
"Skyler we need to get to the underground tunnels. Hurry!"
"Mom, why?" I ask getting up from my bed.
"Hurry, Sky!" She shouts running out of the house.
I quickly follow her. Outside it was total panic. Wolves running everywhere, Moms getting their children to the tunnels, men running into the forest. What was going on?
My Mom and I ran to the tunnels and quickly got in.
"Mom what's going on?!" I shouted.
"Oh sweetie," she says with tears in her eyes. "We're under attack."
