I lived a plain, and simple life. everything fell into some sort of routine, everyday. ya, it was boring, but I grew to love it.
I wake up at 6:30, and brush my teeth, and brush out my dirty blonde fringe. I put on my clothes-usually a white tee-shirt, and blue jeans. I grab my bag, and put my shoes on, then run downstairs to eat breakfast. after I'm finished with my food, I run outside to the bus stop, and wait for the annoying yellow car.
that's what my days have looked like since I started high school.
I call it normal, but others call it black and white.
why black and white? you might be asking. well, because it's boring.
it's repetitive, and cliché.
the bus pulled up, and stopped infront of me, giving me time to walk to the door, and walk up the three steps.
I'm honestly so scared of those little steps at the beginning of the bus, because what if you fall?
everyone would laugh at you, and your life would suck.
luckily, I made it up the stairs!
i sighed, and sat in the front of the bus, where all of the quiet kids sit.
the back is where all of the cool kids sit.
they're loud, and say profanities all the time.
they dye their hair, and have cool haircuts-especially this girl with dark blue hair.
her hair is short, and she has a perfect fringe.
she has two lip rings, and even has stretched ears.
she's a punk, and would never notice a shy kid like me-ever.
I've had a small crush on her since sixth grade.
she secretly stretched her ears, and still had a cool haircut.
she wears black shirts-most if the time-and black ripped skinny jeans.
I shook her out of my mind, and looked out the window of the moving bus, watching as we pulled into school.
I groaned quietly, and got out of the bus, beginning to continue my black and white day.
I went to algebra-which is first block, the science, and then history.
block four is lunch, so I walked to the lunch room, and found my friends.
"hey mike" luke smiled.
he had the best fringe out of all of us. he had blonde hair, and the bluest eyes you will ever see in your life.
"hey guys" I waved, as Calum looked up from his book.
Calum is a tan kid, that doesn't have a hair on his body-besides the hair on his head. he has a really nice fringe as well, and everyone thinks he's Asian-but he says he isn't.
"hey mikey" Calum put his book away.
"what are you guys doing?" I sat down, and took a bit from my pizza.
"I'm reading this dumb book. I have a book report due in a week." Calum rolled his eyes.
"I already finished mine" luke stuck his tongue out.
I chuckled, but soon caught a gaze of Haley.
she was walked behind luke, laughing with her friends.
"mikey" luke brought me out of my trance.
"what?" I asked, and rolled my eyes.
"what did you get on your math test?" Calum asked.
"I don't know, mrs. woods can suck a dick." I groaned.
"true." luke laughed slightly, "are we hanging out tonight?" he asked.
"I have to read" Calum sighed.
"I can" I nodded, earning a small smile from luke.
"cool. my house, or yours?" luke asked.
"yours" I nodded.
"someone's moving in nextdoor, we can see who it is" he smiled.
"oh cool. let's do it" I smirked.
soon the bell rang, and we all went to our last three blocks.
the day finished quickly, so I ran around, and tried to find luke.
"michael!" luke yelled from behind me.
"is mama hemmings taking us home?" I asked.
"yep" he groaned.
"is little lukey embarrassed?" I cooed.
"fuck off" he rolled his eyes.
"salty lukey" I moked.
he tried to hold back a smile, but failed.
"gotcha" I laughed.
we walked to the front of school, and waited for lukes mum, liz, to pull up.
soon enough she did, and she rolled down the window.
"hi michael" she waved.
"hi liz" I smiled, and got into the car, fallowed by luke.
"how was your day?" she asked, looking in the rearview mirror.
"good" luke, and I said at the same time.
"I made something for the new neighbours. I want you guys to drop it off" she told us.
"alright" luke smiled, and looked to me, "I think there's a girl" he winked.
"like she's interested" I smirked.
"hey!" he yelled, and hit my arm.
"hands to yourself boys!" liz laughed, while pulling up into their driveway.
