Chapter 1-
" Come on Kadee! You got it strike her out!" My coach yelled. The count is 3-2 and the bases are loaded. If I strike her out we win the game. I start my wind-up and give her my fastball, she swung and missed. Now everyone in the stands and on the field are cheering. My team comes over and picks me up cheering. I don't like being singled out like this, I mean I didn't do all the work. We all went out for ice cream that night.
*Later that night*
" Your such a dumb bitch!" my dad yelled to my mom.
They have been fighting for as long as I can imagine. I texted my friend Riley to come over. He has always been there for me. He comes to all my games and cheers me on. He is my best friend. Then taking me out of my trail of thought, I start to hear little peebles hitting my balcony window. I get up and walk towards my balcony, and open the double doors to it. Sure enough Riley is down at the bottom throwing peebles at the window. " Haha, come on Prince Charming climb up!" I yelled down to him. He climbed up the side of the house and into my bedroom. I hugged him and thanked him for coming over. " Whats wrong Kadee?" He asked as we released the hug. "Is it your parents again?" I just nodded and sat on my bed. As he did the same. " Yeah I wish they would just get a divorce already." I said breaking the silence. " They have been arguing for quite some time now." He said back. " Your telling me. " I smirked. " Do you wanna watch a couple of movies to get your mind off of it?" He asked. "Sure" I said as I turned on Netflix "What do you want to watch?" I asked him as I scrolled through the movies. "Anything is fine, you can pick." He said. We watched a few movies before falling asleep.

Chapter 2-
I woke up in Riley's arms. I slowly got up careful not to wake him up. I crept downstairs. "Im so glad its Saturday." I mumbled to myself as I grabbed a apple and sat on the couch.
About ten minutes later Riley came down the stairs rubbing the back of his neck. "Good morning." I said to him with a smile. "Morning." He replied with a smirk. He sat down next to me and watched tv with me. "I'm gonna go take a shower real quick and get ready. You can eat something if you want." I went up and quickly got undressed and got in the shower. It didn't take long, when I got out I dried off and rapped my towel around me. I walked out into my bedroom. I started to get my clothes out as Riley walked in. "Don't you knock?" I said with a smirk. "Sorry I came in to get my clothes." Thats when I noticed how my best friend was standing in the doorway with nothing on but his boxers. He was very fit. He was muscular but not like to the point where his veins are popping out. " Done checking me out?" Riley said snapping me out of my trail of thoughts. " Pshh I wasn't checking you out." I quickly replied, maybe even a little too fast. "Okay princess" He said with a smirk on his face as he walked to the other side of the bed to get his clothes. When he picked the up he walked to the bathroom and got dressed as did I. When I was done getting dressed I went into the bathroom, I decided to wear my hair natural. I had dark brown curly hair. I put on a little bit of makeup and walked out of the bathroom.

Chapter 3-
Me and Riley went to go get some lunch when we left the house. The car ride there was anything but silent, we sang along to every song that came on. We were laughing our asses off. When we pulled in we turned the music down and got out of the truck. We got a medium pizza half pepporoni half sausage. Just like always, I ate the pepporoni and Riley ate the sausage. We talked about all kinds of things, sports, old times, and that time that Riley broke his leg sliding into a base and on the bottom of his foot I wrote Kiss my Ass on the cast. Then snapping us out of laughing my phone rang, I picked it up and it was my friend Alyssa calling telling we had an emergency meeting at the field. I told Riley what she said and he drove me to the field. I quickly walked to the outfield where everyone was sitting down I took a seat beside all of my friends. "Ladies, I'm sorry I'm taking time out of ya'lls day off but I had to tell ya'll that we are going to go on a trip to New York." Everyone broke out into chattering, looking confused. Then the coach cut in and continued. "We will be going next not this coming Tuesday but the next we will stay for 2 months. The reason we are going is because we are going to host a softball/baseball camp for those 2 months." Everyone started talking again. We were all very excited, I raised my hand and the coach called on me "So how much is the trip?" " Its $300 per person but 200 of everyones payment is already paid for we are going to have a fundraiser here at the fields to raise the rest, so that the only money coming out of ya'lls pockets is food and souviners which shouldn't be that much of a problem." She replied. We talked some more about it then everyone was dismissed. We were all hyped about the whole thing!
