Riley dropped me off at my house, and I ran quickly into the house. I found my mom and dad sitting at the table in the dining room talking nicely to each other, which suprised me but I shook that thought out of my head. "Guess what?" I said very happily. "What" They both said in sync. The whole softball team is going to New York!" I said. "Really when?" my mom asked. "Not this coming Tuesday but the next, over spring break." I replied. "Thats awesome honey, how much is it?" My dad asked. "Its $300, but $200 of it is already paid and were having a fundraiser at the fields to raise the rest. The only money I need is for fpod and souviners." I replied. "That sounds great! Me and your dad also have some good news, we are going to start marriage councling to get things sorted out." My mom said. "Finally you guys!!" I said. "Well Im going up to my room!" I yelled halfway up the stairs. If I may say so myself life is pretty great right now. Then snapping me out of my thoughts my friend Alyssa came in my room. It actually scared me a little. "Kadee! Why are you not dressed for the party?" She loudly asked. "Shit I forgot about the party!" I said. "I'll pick you something cute out to wear while you do your hair and make up." She said. "Thanks" I smirked as I walked into the bathroom. I curled my hair and did my makeup. I looked pretty good. I walked out of the bathroom and the first thing I saw was a hot pink mini dress on my bed with silver pumps. Alyssa and I exchanged smiles and I put the dress on it didn't even come to my mid thigh. It was short but I looked hot!
