When I came home from Hunter's house, my parents weren't home. I walked into the kitchen and got a glass of water and there was a note on the fridge, "Kadee, your dad and I are taking our councelors advice and going on a trip for 3 months. I know it's a long time, but we have left you money to take on your trip, and we also left money for you when your home alone. We'll miss you have fun on your trip!
Love, Mom" I actually get time home alone! This is gonna be great.
*Next Day at school*
"So you and Hunter?" Alyssa asked me. "What about us?" I replied. "I heard ya'll are dating. Is it true?" She asked. "I don't know we haven't discussed it." I said. "Okay class get your history books out and turn to page 173 please." Our history teacher said as she walked in. We turned in our books and Alyssa past me a note "What do you mean ya'll haven't discussed it?!" Me: "I mean we haven't discussed if we're dating. We just hang out." I wrote back. "Skylar how about you read for us." The teacher asked thd class clown to read. Also Hunters partner in crime. "Um okay sure" He said with a smirk. Skylar read in a british accent the whole paragraph. Everyone snickered. The bell rang. "See ya'll tomorrow!" The teacher yelled as we all pushed out the door to our lockers. Im so glad that was the last class of the day. I walked to my locker and put my stuff up and grabbed my softball stuff for practice. I closed my locker door and headed off towards the locker rooms to get changed. When I was done I walked out to the fields. Almost everyone was out there. We all started warming up discussing the fundraiser and how fun the trip was gonna be. "Okay ladies take your spot in the field Im gonna it you some grounders and pop flys to start practice off. HUstle!" The coach inturrupted us. We all ran to our positions. We were all doing very well. "Okay pitchers pick a catcher and go warmup." We did as we were told and I picked Alyssa. All of our pitchers were really good. When we were done warming up coach put me on the mound. While everyone was hitting I haplened to look up to the top of the field and see Riley. Oh my god. Riley his birthday was yesterday. Im sure he's pissed I haven't talked to him since we hung out. After practice was over I ran up to him hugging him and apoligizing. He didn't hug me back. He didn't say anything. I started to cry a little. I looked up at him and he was looking off into the distance. "Riley I feel so bad!" I said to him. He just stood there. "Riley, pleasd answer." I begged. "I got suspended." was what he said to me. "What? How?" I asked. "Come on I'll drive you home and tell you on the way there." He said. I agreed and got in his truck. We got in and buckled up. "I beat Hunter up." He said as he started to drive off. "WHAT?" I demanded. " We were in the locker room getting dressed for P.E. and I heard him over talking to one of his friends. He said he did it. And his friend asked what he did. He said I got in Kadee's pants." "I walked over to him and punched him. We got in a fight. I won." he continued. "Im sorry" was all I could get out. "Stop apoligizing." He said as he reached over and pulled me into a hug.
