The Life of Angel || Luke Castellan

Chapter 12

~*ANGEL'S POV*~

Knock. Knock. I hear. I wake up and walk to the door sleepily. When I open it Leo burst in and shuts the door. "Hey, Leo. What's wrong?" I ask.

"I love you, I need you, and I want you. I never stopped thinking of you for over 5 years," he says quickly. I stand there and look at him sadly.

"I- I don't feel the same. I'm sorry," I tell him. His face totally drops before turning into anger.

"You love him don't you," he says through gritted teeth. Once I nod he raises his fist and punches the wall. He shoves open the door and rushes out. "Leo? Leo!" I call after him. "Don't do something you'll regret!" I follow him and see he's heading to Luke's room.

"I'm not gonna regret anything," he says before knocking harshly on the door. I catch up with him as Luke open it.

"Hey, wha-," Luke starts. Leo punches him straight in the face. Luke falls back, but jumps up quickly into his stance. "Leo," he tries but Leo swings again. "Stop it." He ducks under the blow and tackles Leo from the waist. Luke pins Leo down on the ground and holds his hands together. "I said, stop!" Leo struggles for a second before realizing it's useless and stops. "Now what was that for?"

"You know why," Leo growls jerking his head toward me. Luke looks up at me before down at Leo.

"You need to get over yourself. You knew her for a year and kissed some other girl. I've known her for six and only kissed her. She chose me. Deal with it. You had your chance," Luke spits before jumping off of Leo. He grabs my arm and takes me to the living room where the rest of the team is. We pass by them and into the kitchen. He lets go of my arm and grabs an ice pack from the freezer. He holds it to his jaw and looks over at me.

I go over to him and take the pack from him. I hold it softly against his jaw. "Thank you," I say. "For not killing him. He's still friends of the others and they don't need to loose anyone." He holds my wrist and leans down to kiss me. It's short but still sweet.

"No problem."

"I knew it!!" I hear. Our heads snap to the doorway and see Zoe. "I knew you two would get together! Ever since day one!"

"Who's getting married?!" Orion yells from the other room.

"Luke and Angel!" Zoe yells. I look at Luke and he just shrugs like, 'Why not?'

I laugh and say, "Sure."
