Fresh new start

<Toriel's POV>
It was very nice for the lady and her husband to let us stay in their place for a while, but I had to repay the favor so I woke up early to prepare them food

"Toriel? Where are you-", the mother asked as she walked to me as she yawned.

"I'm preparing breakfast for us all", I kindly let the mother know.

I grabbed the frying pan and broke an egg placing it on the pan and placed some cooking oil on it. I summoned a weak fire above my hand and placed it below the pan to cook it.

"Oh my! Umm. Toriel? You do know we have an electric stove right there", she politely let me know

"I know, I'm just so used to using my fire magic than using a machine", as Frisk would know that the stove in my house had not been used for a long time.

"Oh, I did not know. I'm sorry", she apologized, she didnt really need to

"By the way, how old is Theresa?", i had to ask because i was curious,

"Her?", she let out a slight giggle," She is 6 and a half years old. How time passes by so fast".

<Sans' POV>
Next morning, as I woke up I saw papyrus trying to get down the building frantically.

I thought I'd help him,"Hey, Pap. Im awake, let us take the shortcut from yesterday", I told him

"Sans, where is it then?", he asked. I took his hand and we took the shortcut down.

"I still dont understand how you do that. But still, A new start for us monsters", he seems fully glad about the whole breaking of the barrier thing.

"I have a question though,Sans. When's breakfast?", he asked and I did forgot about him but he doesnt know about my ketchup.

"Well we have to buy some. How much G you got?", i asked him.

"Oh, I have...", he checked his pocket and pulled out some G," One ... three ... twenty ... 23 in total ".

"Great, Papy. I have 18 in mine, and i saw a resto yesterday. We maybe able to buy something there", i let him know

A few minutes passed and we have gotten to the restaurant, lucky it's open 24/7

The bell of the doors chimed as we went in. We walked to the cashier on the counter," Welcome, valued customers. How may I help you?", she asked us like any other.

Papyrus looked at the menu, he wont like most of it because a great portion of it contains grease. There was spaghetti which i think he cant decide.

"Hey, uhm ...Miss. Do you accept these as payment?", i asked as i pulled out 5G.

She shook her head as in no and said that they only accept cash." But you could exchange that for money though. 2 blocks from here to the left, there is a pawnshop", she continued. How nice of her.

"Come on, Papyrus. Let's g-", before i could finish i saw papyrus taking a photo with a stranger. I should just leave him here for a while to make some more friends. He wanted to capture a human, now he wants to make friends with them

The pawnshop was pretty close, with shortcuts. I've gotten a good deal, I think. I have gotten 5 green paper, or cash for every 1G

I've gotten both of our money exchanged for the paper, so i had to go back to the restaurant and ,oh boy, it was crowded and guess who was the CENTER of attraction

"Papyrus?", I called him, he heard me but he couldnt walk to me so I walked up to him. And I didnt teleport because I didn't feel like it

I have finally caught up with papyrus," Sans! I need help. I seem to have become too popular and these humans are taking pictures and asking me questions", he told me

We walked into the restaurant and Papyrus is behind me, hiding,"Okay, Humans, Im pretty sure you all have plenty of questions that you want answers to. We will not answer them because we still have urgent business to attend to", I told them, most of them followed but some still took pictures.

And so, they had grown fame. About a month later, D-, I mean, Asgore got in touched with the mayor of the town and the mayor stated a new era with the monsters shall be lived with harmony and no fear

They got a few buildings with proper electricity, heat, and water supply, for the time being. Slightly crowded, but close enough to what i would call home

The mayor also said that in a nearby area the monsters will get their own place to stay, which is a small village area.

And so, the new era started with the monsters.
