When I opened my eyes, I saw that I was on the swings again. At least I know a little more, that might save me, at least I hope. I looked around to see that the sun was now shirking behind the tall mountains. I had a feeling that I might find a friend there that thought did not settle within me. I knew people who found out about my gifts, they would try to protect me. I have the power to create illusions, create and delete memories, create potions, and talk to animals. That's how Blaze became my best friend.

                                                                  *Flash Back*

The night had come and I was walking through the woods, I froze when I heard a loud snapping nose against the bare trees. 'What the heck was that?' I thought to myself, "Hello" I said in a small voice. Footsteps got closer and closer, till a huge wild brown bear came out of the bushes. It looked at me, cooked its head to the side, "Don't hurt me" I told it 'Yeah and why would it listen to me' I thought. "Why would I hurt my ally" he told me, slowly walking towards me. "You can talk?" I asked, "Animals have a different language and only you can understand us" he explained. I slowly extended my hand toward the huge beast. He edged his muzzle to my palm. "My name is Cassie" I told him, "And mine is Blaze, young traveler, I was sent to protect you along your journey" he told me, looking into my eyes. In his eyes I saw nothing but pure truth.

                                                          *End of Flash Back*

That's how Blaze and I meet, now him and I were inseparable, we were never apart. I would sleep, he would guard me, even though my protests. My journey brought me to a small town. This town had some people, but not many. Everyone stared as Blaze and I walked passed them. My growling stomach caught Blaze's attention. He put his muzzle on the small of my back, and began to push me to the burger shop. I opened the door, and he pushed me in, sitting himself right next to the door. I walked up to the counter, "May I help you?" the young woman asked. She had long blonde hair, shinning green eyes, "Yes, I'll have two hamburgers, and a sprite" I told her, Coming right up" she said before walking away. I took the chance to have a glance around the place. The walls had a light flower color in them; the tables were a spotless green color. "Miss" I turned my gaze back to the woman, she had my order in her hand. I took them from her, I looked in my pockets and got a roll of one-hundred dollar bills, don't ask. "Thank you" I said as I walked to the door. I walked out the door and up to Blaze, "I bought you a hamburger" I told him. "Thank you" he said. "Let's go eat in the park" I said. As I began to walk away, I heard his patted feet walking up behind me. I walked through the park gates. The sounds of children laughing, and chatting crashed into my ears loudly as we walked in. I walked to the farthest tree, making sure no one could see Blaze. I unwrapped and laid Blaze's hamburger on the ground. He walked up to it, smelled at it, and began to eat. I unwrapped my burger and nibbled on it. "Can I have some water?" he asked, "Sure" I said, getting up and walked to the nearest store. I walked to the bottled water in the freezer section, grabbing one, I walked to the register. I handed her the water, and paid, "Thanks" I said as I left. I walked back to the park, and to Blaze. I poured the water on to the ground, Blaze went right after it.
