My head is pounding. I have been fading in and out. When I am awake, no one will tell me anything. I don't know where my family is or if they are safe. I am going mad. I need to know! Why won't they tell me? Is Chase okay? What about Mom and Dad?
"Can you tell me anything?" I ask the nurse. She gives me a sad look that I don't like. "Please."
"Sorry," she replies. Why? "The doctor will come in and explain everything." Everything?
I bust into tears, flooded by my emotions. I couldn't hold it inside anymore. Every bit of that emotion poured out of me. "Please! I am begging you! Tell me something! Please!" I cry. I tug on her sleeve. Pulling her in front of me. "Please!" She pulls away and runs out of the room. I continue to sob until my lungs burn for air.
A old, bald man strides into the room with a depressing look on his face. "I am afraid I have some bad news," he says. He explains everything. My life. Gone. My house. Gone. My family. Dead. Everything is flipped upside down. Everything was supposed to be okay. What did I do to get this? Nothing!
I sob and scream even louder. The man simply walked out of the room like I wasn't even crying. I was in pain. A pain I did nothing to deserve. My life was falling apart.
I cry until I drift off to sleep.

I wake up the next morning to a plain hospital room. The nurse sees me climb out off bed as I walk to the shower. I'm supposed to go to my aunt's house today. I have been laying in bed for what seems like forever. I at least want a shower after everything that happened. The nurse blocks the door to the shower. "Please lay back in bed," she tells me.
I suddenly feel a rush of anger. "Look, I want to take a shower, so I will! You will let me! My life has already fallen apart! All I want is a shower! Move out of my way!" I say shoving her aside. She just walks back to her desk like nothing happened. Great, hopefully she will leave me alone. If she doesn't, I will literally explode.
She does. I take my shower in peace. When I get out, there is some clothes other then a stupid hospital gown waiting for me. I quickly dry off and slip the clothes on. I get out of the bathroom to see my Aunt Julia and her husband- Uncle Josh. I run to meet Aunt Julia's embrace. I sink into her. Blinking back the tears from my eyes.
"Let's get you home," she says.
