We pull up to a nice sized house in a normal neighborhood. I wish it was my old one. "Home sweet home," Aunt Julia says as she pulls into the garage. "Could you show Alex her room, Josh?"
"Okie dokie." He replies. He gets out of the car and leads me to the trunk to get my bags. He grabs my bags and nods to me to follow him. It's a two story house with three bedrooms. Large for just one couple. Then I see my room. It had a lot of baby stuff in the corner. Then I remember a few years back their baby died only a few weeks after birth. "Here we are." I almost felt bad for staying in it. It must be hard. Losing your only child. I still remember the funeral. Aunt Julia sobbed into Uncle Josh's shoulder. "I'll let you settle in," he says leaving the room.
I slowly walk to the to the single bed. The room was pretty bare- other than the baby stuff. The walls are a peach color I already hate.
A few minutes later a knock came to my door. Aunt Julia pokes her head inside like if she gets to close, I will explode. "You wanna go shopping?" She asks. "You need more clothes, and I didn't know what you want or what size." She smiles.
"Okay..." I didn't really want to go, but I didn't want to hurt her feelings. I just wanted to lay in bed and let the covers swallow me.

We left a hour or so later. We went to a few stores, ate, and left. We were in and we were out. Which I was extremely thankful for! I didn't want to be there any longer than I needed to. All I wanted was to lie down and never get up.When we did get home, that's exactly what I did. I couldn't bare to get up. Everything hurt. The worst part is I was expected to get up tomorrow morning and go to a new school. Goodbye Adams High, hello Lincolnshire high. Just what I need, to start a new school only a short while after I lost my family. Said no one ever! I never want to go anywhere. I just want to leave. But I have too. I hope today lasts forever.

Great, the school is as perky as ever. The school colors bright, smiles all around me, and I'm here and depressed. Just perfect... Students buzz around, meeting their friends, spreading smiles. This would have been nice if it weren't under the circumstances that it is.A short blonde girl walks up to me like i'm an unknown creature that just murdered ten people. Cause that makes me comfortable... "Hi, i'm Felicity. New student?" I nodded. "Can you speak?" She giggles.
"Um... yeah, Sorry. I'm Alex."
"That's cute! Well welcome to Lincolnshire High. Stick with me and you'll survive!" She says tugging me behind her. As we pass, I hear many people say "Hey, Felicity," so I think it's safe to assume she's popular. "What's your next class?" she asked.
"Mrs. Shelton's math class."
"Great! You can sit by me next period! Where's your locker?"
"Where ever locker 284 is."
"Oh that was David's old locker. That poor guy. He had some sort of illness. He died a few months ago." She had a pitiful look on her face. However, it turned into a devious smile.
"What?"
"You know people say he haunts that locker. It was told that he is waiting for one last hook-up." I stare at her for a moment and burst into laughter. She joins with me unable to hold her straight face any longer. That was the first time I had laughed in what feels like forever.
I spin around and bump in to a tall guy with tattoos on his arms. Suddenly I feel a intense pain in my head and hear ringing in my ears. I see flashes of this guy and me fighting off these creatures I have never seen before. They were demon- like. Black with red eyes... What was that? He looks back at me. "Ummm... Sorry," I say. He just turns and walks away.
"That was Noah. Hot, but weird and such a bad boy!" Felicity said smirking. "Ya like?" She giggles.
"What? No!" She stares at me for a moment longer before bursting into laughter. "Shut up!" But I had to admit- he was pretty cute.
