Today is Easter Sunday. Today we remember that Christ died for us and then rose again.
Christ died so that we may have a closer connection with God via the Holy Spirit. No longer do we have to be prophets or priests to hear God. Now anyone can have a personal connection with the Lord.
And then the most amazing part...
He rose again!
Jesus rose from the dead and walked and talked on Earth. Can you imagine being a follower of Jesus at that time? Your friend had been killed and a couple days later he wants to come over to have lunch. How crazy awesome is that?
The Lord who was raised from the dead loves YOU.
Jesus Christ knows YOU and he wants to be YOUR friend.
And not even death can ever separate from that kind of love.
