Mikenna's POV
I keep a deep sigh of relief in my lungs. Ethan goes to get the kids and we are left alone, Kayla, Grayson, and me. I glare at Grayson, angrier by the minute. "So.. Is it fucking true that you got my ex-friend pregnant?" I ask him, Grayson, skeptically. Kayla looks at me confused for a while, "Wait... Maggie Dillard?" She asks disappointed and angry at the same time. We, well I am glaring at him, Kayla looks at him. He sighs. "Okay. Okay. You-" The kids walk in, I look over at Eth and give him a look that means we were almost getting to the reveal. He realizes that we were talking with bad words and what my face reads, "Honey-buns, let's go get something special for your Aunt Kayla." They squeal and nod, Eth leaves with the kids without another word. "Well, Grayson.. I warned you that if you mother fucking broke her heart in any way, you'll regret it." I tell him in gritted teeth. He leans his head on the wall. "Fine, yes your ex-friend.." He answers. Kayla glares at him and tries to not yell, she has tears form in her eyes. "Grayson, I suggest you leave now." I whisper softly, trying to not yell my lungs out at him. He sighs and leaves, "M-Mik, c-c-can I h-have a hug?" She says, I nod softly, I go over to her and crawl next to her she lays her head on my chest and she lets it out, she cries. I don't give a hell if she messes my shirt up, "Hey, Kays, how about we go to Australia for a while after you get out?" I ask her as I rub her back soft and comforting. "I-I don't know.. You have Hayley and Logan, and-and-" I cut her off hushing her soft and calm. "Kayla, they have this thing called FaceTime and Skype.." I tell her sarcastically, she tries to not laugh. "What do you say? You will be able to see Katt again, because Natalie moved here to be with her boyfriend." I tell her. Her looks at me shocked for a minute, "Our Natalie, from Aussie, has a boyfriend?" I nod, and smile. "Take a guess." I tell her, "Oh, um.." She thinks for a moment and a smirk forms on her face, "Taylor Caniff?" She asks, I laugh and nod, "Yup." I tell her.
"Before they met Natalie would go on and on about how hot and sexy he is." She says smiling and laughs soft. I nod, "Understandable." I state. She laughs again. "Hey, now.. You're married to Ethan." She jokes, "I know.." I sigh lovingly dramatically.
We hug one more time before the kids walk in, "Auntie Kayla!" They exclaim shocked that she's looking happier than earlier. Ethan walk in with two tubs of ice cream, "Eth, why are they excited?" I ask raising an eyebrow at my husband. He simply shrugs, "I don't know, but I was a responsible father and husband.." He tells me as he hugs me, I feel him wink at Kayla because she laughs out of the blue. "Mhm.. Sure, really buying it.." I mumble in his chest. That makes Kayla laugh more. Kayla looks over at her niece and nephew, "Well, kiddos? Who's you're favorite parent as of now?" I turn my head to see them tell her. "Daddy, because one time when Mommy wasn't home..." Logan starts but realized that I am in the room. "When Mommy wasn't home..? What happened?" I ask Hayley, Logan, and Ethan, "He gave me money to not tell, Mommy." Hayley tells me, sighing.
And that day consisted of, eating ice cream, and having a fun and hilarious time.
But it once came time to leave, they decided to keep her overnight to make sure she'll be okay and Kayla was fast asleep as we were about to leave, I kissed her forehead goodnight and left with the kids and Ethan.
Once we got home, I put the kids to bed and walked in our room, in the bathroom brushing my teeth, I look at my calendar, and freeze, I am ten weeks late.. No, no, no....
I eventually got out of my freezed-out phase, and I got in bed with Ethan and cuddle my head in his chest. "Night, Eth." I mumble, he kisses my hair, "Night, Miki."
And with cuddling each other, we slowly fell asleep.
