Mikenna's POV
I am so shocked, I walk to the bus with Josh by my side. No he isn't my boyfriend, he is gay, which means he dates boys. Josh glances at me concerned. "Sweet cheeks, why do you look pale as a ghost?" He asked me. Hayley answers, "We saw Daddy, Uncle Gray, and Auntie Kay." I shiver at the thought of him harming my kids in that way again. "Mommy?" Hayley asks. Ethan walks by with the other two. He glances at me with tears in his eyes, of sadness, joy, shock, and anger. "Okay! Well, um, let's go to the hotel." Josh says clearing his throat. I feel tears fall down my face as I shiver. "Mommy, are you okay?" Logan asks, I shake my head no as I look at him. "Nothing you need to worry about, honey." I tell him shakily as we walk to my car. "Josh, be a dear and help buckle Hays, as I do Logan." Josh just laughs at my attempt to sound like his mom, Debbie. I buckle Logan up. Josh gets in the driver's seat as I wait patiently for him to get out, he looks at me confused then the wheel, and gets out embarrassed. He jogs to the passenger seat as I get in my seat. "Hey, mate, don't sweat it. Me and Kayla did the same exact thing on our third week in Los Angeles." I tell him as I buckle up. He just looks down. Thinking about something. I laugh soft as I drive to the hotel. I see Andy smoking, I shake my head sighing. "Oh my god, is t-that-" I cut Josh off, "He's taken mate, he married Juilet." I say scoffing soft making the kids laugh.
After getting to our rooms, Kellin told me that he needed to speak to me, Logan, and Hayley. He babysat Jess for me. "Mommy?" Hayley asks, I glance at her, "Yes, honey?" I ask as we walk to his room. She stays silent with tears falling out of her eyes. "Hays, what's wrong?" I bend down to her height. "I..I just miss Daddy, Mommy." She whispers as she cries in my neck. I sigh, deep in thought about the outcomes of us getting together again. "Tell you what.. We will figure something out." I tell her, she sniffles. "Y-You promise?" She whispers. "Yes, hon. I promise." She smiles softly in my neck, I carry her and Logan to Kellin's room. "Knock, knock." Hayley says making me smile as Logan knocks on the door. Kellin answers it, Kellin looks at me with glee, I carefully set the two toddlers down. "What is it?" I ask fixing my shirt. "Okay, you just missed it, Jess stood up but fell back down." I squeak shocked, I run to where the beds are. I see Jess playing with her toys as she stops suddenly, she looks at me with a big smile on her face. She stands up, and wobbly walks to me. I gasp in happiness, she just fucking took her first steps. "Baba!" She giggles as she hugs my legs, I pick her up and spin us in a circle.
And we collapse on a bed, "You smart, cookie." I tell her tickling her stomach lightly. She giggles. Kellin walks over to me as I sit up and set her in my lap, Logan and Hayley join me and Jess on the bed. "Okay, not to freak you out or anything, but I saw Ethan walking past six rooms behind mine.." Kellin says in protective brother mode. I sigh, feeling a little bit guilty of how harsh I sounded, I sounded like a complete bitch. "Oh? Can we go visit him, Mommy? Please?" Hayley and Logan beg. I sigh, "Call me or your Uncle Kellin if anything bad-" They immediately get up and run out of the room. "-Happens." I finish. Kellin looks at me. "Kenz, why are you so upset?" He asks, Jess looks at me with upset eyes. "I sounded like a fucking complete bitch." I mumble under my breath. Kellin gives me a look, "Okay how about this, I watch Jessa, and you go do something with Josh." Kellin says, I smile so wide. "Thank you, bro!" I say in a man's voice. He rolls his eyes playfully at me, "Yeah. Yeah. Just go!" He tells me pointing to the door. I hand him Jess. I kiss her cheek, "Be good for Uncle Kellin, sweetheart." She smiles as she chews on her fingers. I run to mine and Josh's room that will be full of kids before I know it. I walk in grinning ear-to-ear, "Woah, what's up with the grin, bitch?" He asks laughing. "Tattoos.." I trail off, he smirks, "Okay, let's go!"
