Comforting Hug (Yu Kamoda x reader)

You were walking towards your best friend's team's tent to wish him good luck. Today, they were versus with Honan and you decided to watch this stride when Yu told you about it. Stepping inside, you looked around.

"Yu?"

The dirty blond head looked up from his notebook and looked at you. "(Y/N)?"

You smiled at him as you made your way towards him. Yu looked at you a bit surprised.

"Uhm... What are you doing here..?" He asked with a questioning look.

"I'm going to watch you guys and give you a wish good luck, of course!" You said as you smiled at him brightly while Yu blushed a bit at your words.

"O-Oh thanks..." He replied as he averted his gaze to the side.

"A-And... I'll cheer you on even though you're not running!" You stuttered as pink dusted your cheeks. "S-So... G-Good luck out there, Yu...!"

Yu looked at you and blinked before giving out a soft chuckle and a soft smile gently. "Thank you for being here, (Y/N). I really do appreciate it."

You blushed as he developed you into a hug. You would call it a friendly hug to begin with but for both of you it was a very special one.

Yu released you from the hug as he smiled again at you. "Well, I better go, (Y/N). I'll see you after the race."

You smiled at him and nodded. "Okay! Good luck again, Yu!"

You watched as Honan crossed the finish line indicating that Mihashi lost the match but waited a bit longer until the accident died down after one of the members of Honan had an accident.

After a few moments, you went to where the team's tents were and found Yu's brother Kei and him just finished talking as Yu looked at you and smiled a bit sadly. He quickly approached you.

"Sorry, (Y/N)... You had to see us lose..." Yu apologized as he looked down a bit.

You blinked and smiled at him while you shook your head. "Don't worry about it, Yu. This isn't over. Losing can help you learn to more! S-So... Don't be sad!"

Yu looked at you and did a small cat face smile and nodded.

"A-Also...!" You fidgeted a bit while blushing. "Y-You didn't lose anything! You may have lose the match but there is one thing you didn't."

Yu rose an eyebrow at you. "What is it then?"

"You'll never lose me." You said as you smiled at him and both of you blushed at the same time. "I mean, of course there's your teammates too! Haha!"

Yu laughed you as he hugged you again and kissed your forehead. "Thank you, (Y/N)... That made me a lot better..." He whispered softly.

You hugged him back as you snuggled in his embrace, not really caring about the stares of the passerby walking especially his team watching you two.

"I love you, Yu."

"I love you too, (Y/N)."

"Aniki, (Y/N)! Please get a room!" Kei shouted from afar while other teammates snickered at the background.
