Me And My Dreams

Second day!

It's my second day!

Nervous still, but a little less now that i have friends. I'm a little excited because i spent all night texting Christy and Angela, apparently we have all my classes with them! And Chris...

I walk up to the front of school, giant smile on my face, ( I'm ready for anything)...

Until...

Kelly comes up to me " Hey u!" I look a round confused. "Yeh u!"

"Hey you better leave Chris, He is way out of your league. I'm way better than you'll ever be! Got it!"

I nodded and walk out of the way , I try to avoid anymore embarrassments from Kelly and Her popular group.

I feel one tear drop down my face, I knew I felt like I was gonna cry.

I went straight to class i sat at the far back corner luckily Chris wasn't there, i felt embarrassed, hurt and all sorts.

I knew i liked Chris... But if it's just going to hurt both of us, why bother?

Class is starting and everyones starts rushing in i see, Angela and Christy i wave at them. I try to push my emotions away and put on a fake smile.

"Hey guys!" I say. I don't think i'm a very good actor! They probably sense my tenseness ," hey Renay are you ok? You seem a bit down"Christy asks. "yes I'm fine, really!" I jitter a bit though. They move to their seats as the teacher walks in.

Chris comes in as well. He walks up to me " Hey Renay, can I sit here?" I was about to say yes but, i remember what Kelly said. "Ummm can I be alone Chris?" He seems a bit shocked but nods and walks away to the seat in front of me...

I feel like a mean person, i knew Chris wanted to sit next to me and i said no.

Class ended quickly and i moved quickly to next class, as i walked Chris seemed to catch up with me. " hey Renay are you ok? you seem a bit tense, something bothering you?"

I quickly reply with a fake smile "no I'm fine, just got a thing on my mind, thats all".

"You know we are friends, right? You can tell me anything!" He looked like he was really concerned about me.

"Thanks Chris but this is something i'd rather keep to myself"

I stormed of to class.

Great another lesson...

After my classes i meet up with my new best friends, we talked about the sleepover tonight, like what should i bring, stuff like that.

They notice at the jock table that Chris zoned out and stared at me, "oooooh, someones got a crush on Renay..." Angela says with a really weird voice.

"It's nothing Angela, were just friends"

I quickly deny it.

"So see later at my sleepover?" "Yes!" Me and Angela say at the same time...

"Jinx you owe me a soda" Angela says.

I go and buy a soda and i see Chris in front of me ( i swear that kid is following me!).

"Renay! I never knew you like root beer" Chris suddenly says when he noticed me behind him, " Actually this is Angela's, i kinda owe her a soda"

"Well i'll pay for it" and he grabs the soda and pay's for it, " Chris why did you pay for it? You know i could have paid for it!" Ok maybe i over reacted...

"Sorry... I shouted" I say

"It's fine c yah later" Chris replies then he left.

" uh huh just friends?" Christy said.
