Introductions

"So these are all our ten lucky winners, right? Okay guys please introduce yourselves."

"Hello everyone! My name is Jill. It's nice to meet you all!" Jill practically screamed into the microphone. The microphone made a high-pitched ringing sound that made everyone in the stadium cover their ears. They waited until the ringing to fade before the second would be introduced.

"Well, that was a very energetic young lady. Now let's go to the next one." the host said. The host walked up to a thirteen year old girl wo had golden hair, green eyes, and had a beanie on her head. He put the microphone near the girl's mouth, telling her to say her name.

"Um... My name is," she paused to swallow a lump in her throat, "... Miranda."

"Hey, no need to be shy, we're all friends here." the man said. He went to the next one: an eighteen year old boy who had tan skin, black hair and wore headphones around his neck.

"Name's Zeke." the teenager said with a nod.

The next one was a girl in a mini skirt and tank top. "Ughh... I didn't even want to be here! I was just dragged along by my stupid, video game obsessed brother." the girl groaned.

"Awe... Too bad. Now you have a console that everyone wants. Now say your name." the host said. The girl looked at the host in shock because of how well the man took in her bad attitude.

"Alright, my name is Michaella." the girl sighed.

"Now say your name little one." the host said to the fifth winner. The fifth one was an eight year old boy who had a lot of video game merchandise on him.

"My name's Jack. It's nice to meet you sir." the boy named Jack held out his hand which the host gladly took in a handshake.

"Well, what a nice polite lad you are. Now let's see about the next one."

Now this one was a teenage girl. She was just in a plain orange tee and had a big backpack on her. She had her brown hair in a ponytail on her head. "My name's Kimberly!" the brunette said with a smile.

The next one was a teenage boy who had blonde hair and brown eyes. He had glasses and freckles on his face. "My name's Matt." he said with a shrug.

"Well what a handsome young man you are. You must have a lot of admirers." the host said.

"Actually," Matt chuckled. "It's pretty much the opposite."

"Oh... Well okay. Now let's get this over with, it's getting pretty late."

He went to another boy. This one wore a gray hoodie. He wore shorts that ended just below his knees and sneakers. His outfit could make any fashion designer cringe. "Cesar." he said.

The host looked at the next one and he almost ran away. This one was the typical "otaku". She wore anime shirts, and shoes. 'This won't be good.' he thought. He reluctantly approached the girl and placed the microphone near her. "Hello minna-san! My name is Laura." she waved to the audience. The host mentally cringed at this. He had a phobia of anime lovers and otakus but he never told anyone why.

'Thank goodness that was done now only one left.' he thought. The last one was a sixteen year old girl. She had purple eyes and blonde hair. "Hi, my name is Jody."

"Everyone, please give a round of applause to our ten lucky winners!" the host held out both his hands, gesturing at the ten people on stage. Everyone clapped their hands and some even cheered them on. "Well, now you guys can get your consoles and leave but first sign the papers that I am holding in my hands." the host said. He held out a pen and several pieces of paperwork.

"Just sign here and you can go." he pointed to a blank space on the corner of the paper. He let every one of them sign the papers, making sure that they will play it the second they'll arrive home. When they finished signing, they went down the stage to go home. It was already 10 o'clock and it was probably past their bedtime.

"Goodbye everyone! Hope you come next convention and wish you a safe trip home!" the host on stage waved goodbye as stalls around him started to close one by one, the lights turning off at the sound of the last stall being closed.
