Little Miss: Chapter 14

****Nyla's POV****

(NO MORE ON VACATION)

"Okay your foot looks all better Nyla" Dr. Patel said to me.

"So no more crutches?" I say with a smile.

She smiled at me and said "No more crutches"

"YES!" I say while getting off the chair and running around the room.

"Nyla, sweetie, calm down" my mom said

"Sorry I'm just happy" I say while fog to sit back down.

"Well if your running than your perfectly fine" The doctor says. "We already unwrapped her, so shes ready to go home" Dr. Patel says

"Okay, Thank you very much" my mom said.

"Bye!" I say to the doctor while running out of the room and stoping when I bumped into someone.

"Sorry" the person mumbled.

"No it's my fault, I was running" I say with a laugh.

"You're funny" he says while looking down at me.

"Thanks, I wouldn't consider myself as funny, I'm more of a beauty" I say while flipping my hair over my shoulder dramatically.

"I'm Josh" he says

"Nyla" I say while nodding my head and smiling.

"Text me sometime" he says.

"I don't have your number" I say in a 'duh' tone.

"Here give me your phone so I can add my number in, and add your number in my phone too" he says while handing me his phone. I give him my phone and he typed in his digits. I looked down at the phone in my hands, this guys was loaded. He has an iPhone 5! I have an iPhone 4 but the iPhone 5 came out recently.

"Aren't you going to type it in?" Josh asks.

"Oh yea, sorry" I said while typing in my number. I hand him back his phone and my mom calls my name.

"Nyla, honey! Come on Dalton waiting!" She yells. I totally forgot Dalton was in the car.

"Who's Dalton?" Josh asked with a look of hurt in his eyes.

"Oh he's my brother" I say. His face changed into a smirk.

"Well I guess I'll see you around" Josh says.

"Bye" I say while awkwardly walking to my mom.

We got into the elevator and my mom bombarded me with questions.

"Who was that guy? Was he a friend? Are you cheating on Cole? Is he a new kid at school?" She says

"Mom calm down! I just bumped into him while I was running down to the elevator"

"Okay, as long as your not cheating on Cole because I honestly love that boy" she says with a smile.

"Of course you do ma" I say with a laugh.

We got out of the elevator and started walking towards our car. Dalton was in the passenger seat waiting patiently for us. We got into the car and Dalton looked back at me with wide eyes and a grin.

"What?" I ask being uncomfortable.

"Nothin" he says while turning around and looking straight ahead.

"Weirdo" I mumble.

I walked into the house and ran to the kitchen. I saw that we had chicken salad sandwiches already made so I gladly took one and stuffed my face into it. While I was eating, I heard a picture click. I looked over at Dalton and he smirked at me.
