Luke's POV
Diving smack-bang into the middle of the bed, I lay there, exhausted. Today's show was absolutely fantastic, but my energy was long gone.

I rolled onto my stomach, taking my phone out. A picture of my gorgeous girlfriend immediately appeared on my lock-screen, and a small smile made its way onto my face. It was a photo of Lily from our first date at the coffeeshop downtown, sitting opposite me, with the biggest smile on her face with a latte mustache. Her eyes twinkled under the soft light streaming through the window, soft blonde hair cascading around her, delicate hands wrapped around the gigantic coffee cup. It wasn't coffee that I needed to energize me, it was Lily.

With a newfound energy, I quickly tapped into Messenger and sent her a text.

Luke Skywalker: hey babygirl, just finished a show :) u awake?

My smile spread from ear to ear as my message was instantly read and the small bubble popped up.

Lily: hihihihihi!!

Lily: how's life?

Luke Skywalker: good, but why is my name luke skywalker and yours is just lily?

Lily: bc i love star wars

Luke Skywalker: do you love me? ;) ;) ;)

Lily: sure

Lily: but not as much as i love star wars

I rolled at my eyes, laughing at how persistent she was.

Luke Skywalker: can u call?

Lily: yup sure :)

I called her and she immediately answered, her voice making my heart glow with excitement. Fuck, I missed her so goddamn much. "Hey!"

"Baaaaaaaabe, I miss you so much." I whine, turning back to face the ceiling.

"How do you think I feel? You left me to go on a world tour and I'm stuck here binge watching Netflix." She says, and I can't help but laugh at how adorable she sounded.

"Okay, going back to the topic of our nicknames. Why don't you have one?"

"Well, you can make one up. But it won't be as good as Luke Skywalker."

"Lil Lily." I chuckle, thinking about the countless times she wore my shirts and looked so cute and tiny in them.

"That's terrible." She says, and I can hear her smiling.

"I like it."

"But do you like me?"

"Yes. But not as much as Lil Lily."

"I am Lil Lily."

"Dammit."

"Can you choose another name? It's like Lil Wayne and that disturbs me."

"Oh my god, I didn't realise!" I shout, eyes widening. My imagine of Lily in just my shirts suddenly turns to rapper Lily, spitting rhymes like fire. I burst into giggles, falling off the bed.

"You're such a dork. But I love you."

Those words made my head spin and my body goes weak and the mention of her loving me. I close my eyes, my heart beating rapidly against my ribcage. I loved her. So so so much.

I lie there in silence with her, only the soft hum of the city life outside audible.

Lily yawns. "Luke, I'm gonna go. Listen, I hope you're having a really good time with the boys and I can't wait for you to get back. I love you."

"I love you too, Lil Lily." I grin. "I love you so much."

Ending the call, I stare at the ceiling. How in hell did I manage to get with the girl of my dreams?

Lil Lily: I love you, goodnight xx
