Vox sat outside on his front porch, smoking a cigarette. It was about three o'clock in the afternoon and his shift was over, so he had walked home. Living right next door to your client proved to be very helpful, yet sometimes very annoying.
"Vox!" Yelled Madison from her yard. "Smoking that's gonna give you cancer!" She said, walking over to his front steps. Vox only laughed and puffed a ring of smoke in her direction. Madison groaned and sat on his steps. "You're such an idiot." She said, rolling her eyes.
Skylar had walked up to Voxs house after a while and smiled, "Hey guys" she said acting like her usual bubbly self. "What up?" She asked sitting next to Madison, smiling at the two.
"Well, at the moment, the sky is up." Vox replied, making more smoke rings. Madison rolled her eyes again, "like i said. Idiot... We're fine, how about you?" She asked.
Skylar looked a tad annoyed but brushed it off, smiling once again, "I'm fine, what are you guys gonna do today..?" She asked softly moving her hair to the side.
"Nothing much I don't think. I was going to have a nice quiet Madisonless afternoon, but I guess not." Vox chuckled doing different smoke tricks. Madison sighed and looked at Skylar, "I was just gonna hang around too."
"Is Madeline home? Maybe we all could hang out this afternoon..? And maybe if the brothers want they can come hang as well!" She said smiling.
"Sure I'll shoot 'em a text." Madison said. "Madeline is two doors down over there," she said, pointing across the street at a smaller house.
"Okay! I'll go see if she's there!" She said running off to her house, yet just as she had her back to the two, she smile psychotically and giggled
Madison texted Ezrah and Travis while Skylar was off, and Vox continued to do more tricks, chucking to himself.
Skylar knocked on Madeline's door and awaited for her to answer. "I hope she is here..." she said quietly to herself.
Madeline opened the door with a less than pleased expression on her face, "What do you- oh!" She laughed and smiled, "Hey there short-stack, what brings you here?" She asked with a teasing grin.
Skylar blushed and gave her an irritated look, "you know I hate it when you call me that..." She said, then sighing, she returned to her bubbly state. "But anywho! I was wondering if you'd like to come over to hang out with Vox, Madison, and your... Hhh sstep brothers...?" She said a bit scared she'd tick her off..
"Sure, why not. Just lemmie get dresses okay? You can come in, but it's uh... it's not the cleanest house in the world," She laughed nervously opening the door further.
"O-Oh! It's fine!" She said cheerful. "C-can I come upstairs with you though....? I-I.. Don't like to be left a-alone..." She spoke quietly.
"Yeah sure," Madeline replied, letting Sky in and shutting the door. The two go upstairs and Madeline goes through her closet.
"So what are you gonna wear?" She asked while sitting on her bed.
"I dunno," Madeline said going through her clothes. "I have like nothing." She laughed to herself and continued searching.
"Oh that's not true..." She said getting up and looking at her clothes with her. "Maybe wear a black crop top with blue ripped up skinny jeans...?" She said softly looking up at Madeline, her cheeks a bit pink.
Madeline pulls out the clothes Sky suggested, "sure, sounds good." She closed the closet and changed her clothes, looking through her messy drawers for socks.
"Oh my goodness! I love that on you!" She said hugging her around the waist a bit tight per than normal.
Madeline blushed and laughed, "Th-thanks..." she said, a bit flustered. She pulled her socks on and found her shoes, putting them on as well. Grabbing her phone from the nightstand, she shoved it into her pocket.
