Its just a job, nothing personal!

Skylar sat outside in her backyard with her three friends, Trax, Vex and Noxious. Each other then went around playing their usual game of truth or dare.

There was a light tapping at the front door followed by a ring from the doorbell. Madison stood outside the house waiting for somebody to open the front door, making sure her hair wasn't messed up and she had her bag.

Skylar stood up and looked into the living room and smiled seeing her best friend, "I'll be right back guys.." As she walked to the door she picked up her phone and put it in one of her pockets. Quickly unlocking the door she smiled and welcomed her. "Hey it's been awhile since I've seen you! Where ya been?"

Madison laughed a little. "I've been... Around. Sorry to just show up, i just wanted to say hey since i was in the neighborhood," she replied. Smiling, she asked, "how have things with you been? Anything fancy goin' on?"

"Not really. I'm hanging out with some friends..." She smiled. Suddenly she smirked and nudged her friends shoulder. "Your boyfriend's hereeeee...~" she teased. She giggled a bit and then stifled it. Looking up she smiled softly "Would you like to come in?"

She chuckled and shrugged, "sure why not..." Madison stepped inside next to her friend, still smiling slightly although now looking a bit more uncomfortable.

Skylar looked up at her, "hey... What's wrong? Is everything alright..?" She said touching Madison's hand slightly, a bit worried.

Her hand reared back a bit before it was shoved into her side pocket. "Yeah, everythings...fine." Madison replied, putting on a nice smile.

Skylar sighed and looked down. "Alright, everyone's in the backyard. If you want, you can head back there without me. I'm gonna go upstairs to change my clothes, i don't care if you come, I don't care if ya don't juuuust an option" she said walking towards the staircase.

"Hey... I'm okay... I promise," Madison stated, looking toward the staircase while walking to the back door. She opened the entrance into the back porch where the others were, quietly making her way to the edge of the landing and sitting down, her feet dangling near the grass.

While Skylar was changing, Vex was sure to talk Madison's ear off. She was excited when she got to see someone she hardly ever gets to see or hang out with, or just new people in general..

"So.. What's been happening? Where ya been? We haven't seen ya for what? two weeks? What's up?" She kept pestering the other young girl until Noxious had to shut her up. "Sorry Mads, she just a lil jumpy today..."

"Yeah, yeah it's fine..." Madison replied, looking down at her feet. "I've been around... Talking to people... Doing some jobs. The usual, " she said softly.

"Oh? What job?" Nox asked curiously. As she held her hand over Vex's mouth, starting to get annoyed.

"Nothing special." Madison said, ending the conversation abruptly. She swung her feet back and forth, to and fro, over the grass and tried not to look up at anyone.

Skylar came downstairs and opened the glass sliding doors. "Okayh.. I'm back guys! Alright who's turn was it last?" Nox pointed to the gym lover they all knew. Trax.. He was being quite quiet for once. Sky smiled and sat down on the steps of the deck. "Okay Mr tough guy, put the book down. It's your turn.." Trax quickly looked up and sighed... "Very well.." He looked forward at Madison and smiled "Mady! Truth. Or. Dare?" He smirked awaiting her response.

She paused, mostly out of shock. "I... Um... T-truth i guess?" She said quietly. Her feet had stopped swinging and her cheeks flushed pink.

"Alright.. If you had a decision to save... Hmm.." He looked around and instantly thought of a trick question.. " if you had to save one person and it was between Skylar and Noxious who would it be..? Oh! And both are hanging off a cliff.." He sneered. Seeing Skylar giggle and shake her head
