"She means a lot to me"
"if anything happened to her, I wouldn't be able to live with myself."
"I need to protect her."
"She means a lot to me"

The words swirled around her head, bouncing around as she laid on her bed, thinking. She was back as Marinette, and Tiki was curled up beside her but she could shake off what he said, what he meant.

She was extremely confused by him. he just couldn't give her a strait sign. Did he like her? Did he not?

She was being a hypocrite, though, because she wasn't giving him a straight answer to her feeling either. She thought they would be perfect together, she wanted them to be together. So she just laid there drowning in her self pity. Wishing for a way out, wishing for an escape, wishing for a cat, wishing for a boy, wishing for love. Wishing what she had was here now.

After they both parted ways Adrien went back to his house and thought about what had happened. His father was hawkmoth, his Lady was acting weird, and his princess was no where to be seen.

The first thing he wanted to do was walk down the hall and kill his father. But, that was crazy. Instead he went down to the first floor to get a glass of water.

His bare feet padded down the stair until he got to the kitchen. He then filled up a glass of water and gulped it down. He sighed in content and wiped his mouth, turning around.

He came face to face with a gun at his forehead and his fathers bloodshot eyes searing into his.

Crap, was the only thing going through his head. He slowly raised his hands as a sign of surrender.

"I'm not going to kill you," he whispered, "but I do want to explain somethings." Adrien calmed down a bit, his father would never kill him anyway. They both walked to the table and sat down, Gabriel put the gun in his pocket.

"I'll explain everything, but first I have a question," he paused and looked at the boy. "Do you know who Ladybug is in her real life?"

"No," Adrien sighed, "Do you know who Chat Noir is?"

"Yes, and who ladybug is." Adrien froze and became a rock statue.

"R-really? C-care to share?" He asked with a small laugh in his voice.

"You," he looked at his with his dark intense eyes. His mouth was a straight line, the wrinkles evident on his face. He looked sad and tired, his face had foreshadowing of what was to come.

They say there staring at each other for a long time. Until Adrien cleared his throat. "And Ladybug?" His voice squeaked out the question and with an uncertain look.

"Marinette."

For a second he just took in the information. He just sat the there and nodded. Soon, though, he realized what- or who rather- he said. His princess. The girl he was now totally head over heals for is the same girl he just got over. Sweet, shy, sassy Mari who wouldn't hurt a fly is the girl who denied him so may times?

His brain was racing so fast he didn't know what to do, his heart pounding so hard in his chest. "M-Marinette?"

He shot up from his seat only to have a gun placed against his temple. The cold metal freezing his heart. He stood still, he couldn't move.

"Sit down," his fathers warning broke through the still air. "Look, I just... I need your Miraculous. I will give him back, but I need him and Ladybugs Miraculous for just an hour. I- I need their power, if I have 3 Miraculous I can raise someone from the dead. I never asked nicely, I thought maybe this would work now."

"One moment," Adrien said after a minuet. He thought it over before finally coming to a conclusion. He would help his father. "OK, I'll help you. But I need ladybugs consent first."

"Th-that's fine, that's great! Thank you! Adrien, we are going to be a family again!" He looked happier then Adrien had ever seen him. That made a son proud.
