We just won the Sing-off and everything is great, honestly. The world is our oyster and we can't wait for tours, concerts, albums, merch - everything. Even though Kirstie and I have only known Avi and Kevin for a year or so we already feel like family.
I still think of the moment they announced our name, It sends me into a wandering dream whenever I think about it - whenever I think about my life now. How much its changed all because of 8 words.
"The group that's won the sing-off is... Pentatonix"
I remember grabbing Kirstie and hugging her so tightly, just to make sure she was real - winning the Sing-off was all we had ever dreamed of in high school. Note books and textbooks full of doodles of us winning Grammys together, performing shows together and just making it in the music industry. And now at least a part of that has come true. It really was our wildest dream and now we have conquered it.
I can only begin to think about the possibilities for our group, now that we're signed to a LABEL! (Yet another thing I need to get my head around)
Rehearsals and all that good stuff starts next Monday and boy can I wait. I called Kev last night and he was still emotional about the whole thing - it was only 3 days ago we won.
The sky is the limit for us and we're travelling down the road to success, I just can't wait to see where it takes us.
