Okay... think Anthony, think. You're the son of Athena for Gods sakes. Well, Ill take the dog. The mutt's mind should be easy to manipulate. That leaves Drew do deal with the girl. I didn't have time to say my thoughts. The fighting started way to quickly.
Drew had eyes only for the ferocious dog. A monster to slay. Great. We get into this because of him, and he gets what he wants. Oh, well. If we don't die... I'm going to kill him.
The girl hopped off the dog and raised a knife. The dagger in her eyes were a lot scarier than the one in her hand. She stabbed at me, I jumped back. It seemed as if she knew she wouldn't strike.... she was watching me. Looking for a weak spot. My reactions. She shot the knife higher, which I anticipated. In one swift movement I grabbed her wrist. Thanks to a pressure point, I got her to drop the knife. She lifted her arm, which meant mine as well. which gave her a clear path from her fist to my gut. My hand instinctively went to my stomach.... she punched me in the throat. I lost concentration and fell to the ground. She picked up her knife and dashed off toward Drew.
Drew somehow saw her out of the corner of his eye. All of a sudden, Drew's sword and the girl's knife were held with the point just touching its opponents throat. The dog continued to growl and got closer. I watched in horror, yet curiously.
"Call off the dog."
"Well how about YOU stop trying to kill him."
"He was going to kill me!"
"You two are the ones who attacked us!"
Drew stared into the girls eyes for another moment. Then dropped his sword to the ground.
A minute felt like an hour, until the girl lowered her knife cautiously.
"Who are you?" Drew asked.
"I was sent here by direction of my father." The girl replied reluctantly.
"And who might that be?"
"Hades."
"Well.... welcome to camp half-blood then." Anthony chimed in.
The girl sent the dog away. The dog disappeared real fast. Which melted the tension right quick.

Once they got to camp, Chiron came up to us.... he wasn't at all surprised to see the girl.
"Ah you must be Ryan. Welcome to camp! I'm sure these two would be glad to show you around camp. For now, come and join us for dinner." Chiron warmly invited.
Drew and I exchanged discombobulated looks. Chiron seemed pretty calm and undisturbed by the fact that a daughter of the big three showed up out of no where....
