My name is Jasper, I'm only 18 years old and I’m not a normal person. Well unless you consider killing people to stay alive normal. See I’m not really human per say and haven’t been for a long time. Oh, I should also tell you I won’t ever get to live to 19. I am a one who walks through the night silently and unknown; there was a time where I was human. Sadly it a very far memory now but still as vivid as the day it happen. My black and red strait hair is long and runs down my back. I have deep green eyes and a very skinny frame with very defined muscles.
I tend to be the kind of person who wears all black clothing that is tight fitting. Along with my black converse all stars. From all the black I wear my already pail skin tends to look even more pail. As for my life it most definitely wasn’t easy.
It was the day I turned 18, January 16, 2010. It was my grade 12 year last year of my high school and my last day. For most people they would be happy to leave finally. As for me I wasn’t, I had no where to go from here no college would accept me and on top of that I no longer had a place to stay. Normally that would be enough to send a person crazy but not me I also got dumped that same day by my girlfriend of 3 years. Her reason well lets just say it was a simple I was to “Immature”.
I got home after about two hours after my school ended. I couldn’t bare facing my mother after everything. I walked in the door to find no one was there. I packed a bag for myself and headed out the door. Not sure of where to go or what to do. With no money, no means of travel, and no one to help me through. I set off at about 12 at night heading out with my thumb out and in hope for a ride.
After about an hour I just gave up and headed down the street. It was almost pitch black out and with out the street lights I wouldn’t be able to see anything. The street was slightly wet from the rain that fell during the day. There was a park of to the side of the sidewalk down a slight hill. There were three paths one leading to the playground to the left, one to the forest in front of me and a small tunnel under the street to the right.
In the center of a park sat a green park bench that still was a little wet and I walked to it. The lights in the park light everything up in a dingy orangey yellow tint to everything. The park was empty and not even a car drove by the road. All the houses that lined the street had their lights off and the street lights were dimmed down to a very low light that just bathed the park and street in a very slight bit of light. I threw my bag on the end of the green wood park bench and laid down to sleep.
As I laid there I went over everything that had happened in the past year trying to figure out what went wrong. My Mother seemed to care about me even if my father in law didn’t. It really was out of no where to find out I would have no place to stay a week before the end of school. I spent the week trying to find somewhere to stay but of course I couldn’t find anywhere. As I thought about all this my eyes slowly drifted closed and I fell asleep.
It was the dead of night when a sudden down poor woke me up. It was eerily dark out and the clouds covered the moon from the rain. Waking up soaked from the sudden down poor I moved to a tunnel not to far away. The tunnel was slightly light from a very dim light in the middle of it. The walls were made of concrete along with the ground and it had a very wet and mouldy smell about it. Guess rain plus tunnels don’t mix but I really didn’t care it kept me out of the rain so.
I moved into the tunnel and saw a dark shape near the other end of the tunnel that looked like a person hunched over looking at the ground. As I walked closer I could see long dirty blond hair that came out of her hoodie. It was almost pin strait like some one had spent the past 3 hours straitening it. Her hoodie was a pitch black color and fairly tight. Her pants were also tight skinny jeans that went down to her black converse. She was really thin not a unhealthy thin though, her hands looked extremely pail almost like she was dead which I honestly thought as I walked down the dark tunnel. She hadn’t moved an inch until I was about a foot away from her.
She looked up slowly at me her face was just as pail as her hands, she must have been really cold. Her eyes were a very deep forest green. Her cheeks were thin but looked really strong. Her mouth looked fairly small, but her lips were almost a blood red. Her look toward me had a deep look of hunger and almost looked like she was looking right through me.
I sat down beside her and looked at her. She looked really depressed like she was about to break down and cry. “are you ok” I asked her, she just looked at the floor and talked really slow “It really sucks when nothing seems to go right doesn’t it.
When the world seems to end and nothing you do is right anymore.” She looked up slowly with a faint smile on her face. Once the light hit her face her eyes seemed to almost glow and she smiled. Her K9 teeth seemed to grow as she smiled getting longer and sharper. “What would you say if there was a way you could escape all the pain.” I sat there almost stunned for a few seconds unable to answer her. She looked kind but at the same time terrifying
She just stared deep into my eyes and held my gaze. I watched her eyes as they went from her deep forest green to a light red and so on till her eyes were a deep red and glowing through the darkness. She then slowly touched my arm causing a deep cold shiver to run down my spine. My body shook from fear as I looked away. From her eyes the blood red eyes that changed before mine.
Then her voice came through the silence almost like a lullaby, “Look into my eyes.” I suddenly lost every bit of fear and almost like I couldn’t control it I looked right back her eyes. My body slowly started to feel numb and distant almost like I was looking at my self from a mile away. I couldn’t feel or hear anything and the only thing I could see was her eyes. Her voice came through the silence again this time though it didn’t sound like it came from her instead I just heard it in my head. “Lift your arm to me” and I slowly lifted my arm to her.
With in a moment everything seemed to stop and I could feel a sharp pain on my arm. With in a moment of the first sharp pain it was gone and replaced with a feeling impossible to explain. I could feel my arm becoming warm and my body having a jolt of pleasure better then sex. The warm feeling filled through my whole body and it wasn’t a hot over heating feeling just a nice warm feeling like when you drink scotch. Time seem to slow down as my body shuttered from the shear pleasure felt. Then the pleasure disappeared and I felt my arm hit the cold, wet concrete floor. I looked down to see two holes where I felt the sharp pain and my body started to get really cold like I had no blood left to keep me warm. I looked up and saw the girl wiping her mouth off and I could see the two sharp teeth and the blood that covered her face.
“Just so you know your about to feel a mass amount of pain your heart will feel like its going to explode and then you are going to fall unconscious.” She said in a very quite voice. Just then the pain set in a searing burning pain that flew through my veins. It reached through me as it felt my entire insides were on fire. Falling over I landed on her lap and my heart began to beat slower and I could feel it slowing down and with each slowing beat it felt larger and larger. She laid her hand on my head and leaned in to my ear.
“By the way my name is Alice and welcome to my wonderland.” My heart then stopped.
