"So how was the date with Dylon?" Alison inquires over the phone.

I fiddle with the bad quilt as I lay on my stomach with my feet up in the air. "It was okay." I reply.

"Just okay?"

I smirk. "Well what did you expect it to be like? It wasn't amazing but it wasn't terrible. He's nice."

Alison softly chuckles. "I guess that's good then."

I nod. "Yeah. Have you got an eye on anyone?" I question. If she tells me it's just English teacher she's nuts.

"Nope. Not yet anyways." She answers.

I felt relief when she said that because I didn't want her to think she owns Justin but at the same time I was a little disappointed because that still means she's going to hit on our English teacher.

And no I don't think I own him either.

I just...got to him first hats all. Well technically he came to me but whatever.

"Oh why not? You're always crushing on somebody." I respond.

"Hey! Are you calling me a slut?" she questions offended.

I did a humorless chuckle before replying. "No I didn't mean it like that." I assure her. "I meant that you just... crush on people a lot. I didn't say you sleep with everyone you crush on." I correct more specifically.

Alison laughs. "You're right. But I haven't found any guys that I like yet."

"What about Josh?"

Alison scoffs at my question. "He eats his boogers I found out."

I chuckle. "Wasn't that the first grade? He's in high school now Alison."

She signs heavily. "Still gross. Okay I gotta go. I have a time limit on the phone on school nights."

I smile. "Okay. Bye." I say in a sing sang voice.

"Bye." She repeats then hangs up.

I lift myself of the bed with a groan.

I had a bunch of homework assigned today. I did most of it. All that's left is math. Of course I would save that for the last I hate math.

I grab my backpack then set it on my bed unzipping it. I take out all of my homework to search for the math paper.

I pause when I come across my English paper. I stare at it while my eyes scan the whole paper.

Get it together Tori. You're seventeen. He's twenty-five. Not only this is risky but illegal and it will never happen.

I exhale before I knock on his door. This is so wrong. But... I have to.

I knock on a door again repeatedly then wait for him to answer.

The door suddenly swings open and there stands Dylon,

I smile. "Hey." I greet almost breathlessly from the nerves.

He looks surprised. "Hey Tori."

"I was wondering if you wanna walk to school together today." I say in a shy manner.

"Um, sure let me get my backpack and I'll be right out." He answers.

I happily nod. "Okay."

There's only one way I can get over my obsession with Justin. And that's to see other people.
