I can not speak for the trans community, I am only a 16-year-old gender questioning person

~Story~

I took a knife out from the draw and place it onto on the counter. I look out the window to the dark sky and a smaller apartment building two floors below. I see a person smoking on the top floor balcony. I exhaled deeply and started to wash the dished in the sink. Scraping the food into the garbage disposal. After I finished with all the dishes I turned on the ear churning, scraping of what is called a dishwasher. I heard a vibration on the counter so I checked my phone, it was my friend Gina.

Gina: "Hey what are you doing???"

Me: "Just cleaning up"

Gina: "Want to go out to dinner?"

Me: "Yea that would be nice"

I haven't eaten yet. I wasn't sure where we are going but I was up for it. When she picked me up because I can afford a car we went out to an Italian place. I just ordered pizza and Gina ordered pasta. After dinner, we went out to an arcade. I have a big interest in computing and mobile computing. As a computer enthusiast, my computer is the most important thing that I could have. Gina is a CEO of a small program company.

We put $5 into the coin machine, grabbing all the coins and dropping them into a clear plastic cup we walked over to the old "Mortal Kombat" machine. I lifted my fist to her and she took a defensive stance. We took 4 coins out of the cup each, we were down to about 5 coins left after that. I was patient with her being offensive until I saw the correct time to strike. With 75% of my health, she was down to one hit. I went in swinging. I dropped kicked her but she dodged it and hit me down to the floor. I was scared because I had a little less than half my health bar left. I didn't know if she could pull this off, I went in with a swift punch and she jumped up and drop kicked me down to the ground. I got up and ran in again for the punch and finally landed it. I got the last hit and I went in for my fatality. I laughed it off and put my arm around her.

With me beating her we went onto the NASCAR racing machines having to spend an extra dollar to use it. We were left with one coin that we gave to a child to play more. We walked out the door to pouring rain, however, the building had a little overhang to walk under. We walked over to the car and at the last of the overhang we looked at each other and stared into our eyes. Without any light, all I could see was black holes. She leaned in and I wasn't resisting at first, but I backed up out of her grasp.

"I'm sorry, I am just..... not ready for a relationship. I just transitioned and I am still not even sure what I am at, sexually."

"Wait, what do you mean with 'transitioned?' Are you trans?"

I just nodded yes.
