I woke up screaming, in a cold sweat. My mother tells me that it was just a nightmare, and to just go back to sleep. Then I realize that I'm still in the nightmare... My mom is dead. Never coming back, never going to see her again. It hits me like a rock when I realize this, that my life is a nightmare because I have no mother... I am truly awake now, not knowing whether to regret the dream, or to cherish one moment of her comforting eyes. I miss her eyes. Why did she have to die anyways? My life is turned upside down now... What am I going to do??
