It has been one month since we admitted to liking each other. Niall took me on a dinner date one week after and our feelings have been growing quite quickly. Being stupid old me, I've had to bite my tongue from saying the L word on more than one occasion. Niall is gentle, very hot, and an amazing person, I can't believe we are dating, I am lucky enough he even looks at me.
I decided to stay in Ireland the rest of the summer since I was making friends with Ellie and her girls, plus there were only 2 people I really missed in the States, Harry and Anna. They were the greatest friends I could ever have. It is safe to say that Anna and I are opposites! I love to stay in and watch movies, she will party whenever possible, she is loud, outgoing, beautiful, and here I am. The shy yet feisty, insecure girl. Harry is probably the most popular guy at my school back home. He is very cute, athletic, nice, and down to earth. Ever since 3rd grade when I took the heat for him stealing glue, we have been the best of friends. After I met Anna in 5th grade we all kind of meshed as a group and our different personalities brought out the best in each other. We have been Skyping with each other at least once every 3 days, explaining everything is very tiring. Charles has been the same, annoying and man whore-ish, bringing a new girl into
his room pretty much every night. My thoughts were interrupted when Naura lightly tapped on my bedroom door.
"Hello dear, did you want to go grocery shopping with me?" she bounced. It was only 8 in the morning and she already looked gorgeous. Oh, I do have to get tampons today for the dreadful week ahead so I misewhile go.
"Sure! I will meet you downstairs in 20 minutes!" I said jumping out of my bed and walking over to my closet.
"Sounds great!" She smiled and jogged out of the room. I giggled quietly at her excitement to bond with me since her and my Dad are practically joined at the hip. Flipping through my clothing options, I decided upon my purple v-neck, light wash highwaisted shorts, and my black Converse. No outfit is ever complete without Converse! After pulling on my outfit I started to walk to the bathroom when I heard a sound of a guitar and a familar song being sung by a beautiful voice. I tiptoed towards the sound and peeked around Niall's door to see his back facing the door, sitting on his black bed,( THousand Years by: Christina Perri),
"I have died everyday
waiting for you,
Darling don't be afraid, I have
loved you for
A thousand years,
I'll love you for a thousand more..."
I sighed quietly and shot a admiring glance at his back before quietly walking towards my original destination. As I straightened my hair, all I could think about was his amazing voice.
2 WEEKS LATER:
I can't believe I haven't got it yet, I thought as I chewed on my french toast. I'm probably just late, extremely late, my stupid self-concious tugged at. Oh my god, there was something urging up my throat, I dashed to the kitchen sink despite the worried glances I was getting from Niall and Charles seated at the table. My french toast and last night's dinner landed in the sink violently. Before I knew it, Niall was behind me whispering reassuring words into my ear while Charles couldn't care less and finished his eggs.
"Probably just didn't agree with me..." I stated nervously as I pulled myself together. Fuck. I slowly began to put the pieces together. No period, and my sudden string of morning sickness and reaccuring headaches. No, I can't be. I haven't given it up yet.. oh my god. My mind flashed back to the confusing morning waking up to Niall. I raced up to my room so neither of them could see my tears of worry. As I reached my room door, a hand gripped mine and spun me around to face him.
"What's wrong babe?" Niall asked with a worried expression plastered across his face.
"I need to go to the store to get something." I whispered into his ear as he pulled me into a tight hug.
"Ok, I will drive you, I'll meet you downstairs in 2 minutes." he said in a concerned voice.
