No one POV

The waiter went over to table 4 and asked them what they wanted. While the 5 friends were looking through the menu the waiter was staring at Ashley ,one of the fellow friends, and admiring her appearance.

"I would like the fruit salad" Amy said.

"Grilled cheese with ham" Kevin added

"Cheese burger" Troy and Kimberly answered the same time. "Aww" they said again and rubbed their nose against one another.

"Ohh i would like the chicken pot pie " Ashley cutely smiled at the waiter.

"Any dessert?" The waiter kept looking at Ashley.

"Ice cream!" Everyone said in union except Amy and Kevin. They just sighed.

"Flavors?" The waiter smiled.

Amy POV

"Hey, where do you want to go after" Kevin whispered in my ear.

"Ooo look at the couple over there" the others teased.

"You guys stop." Kevin said I just stayed silent eating my salad.

"Just walk around the place" I whispered back to him and he nodded.

The ice cream came . Kevin didn't order any cause he's not really a fan. While everyone ate theirs Kevin sat there quietly on his phone so I decided to give him some of mine.

I scooped up some of my ice cream.

"Kevin" I called and he looked up at me.

"Say 'ah'" he did his signature smile.

I directed the spoon to his mouth and fed him. His eyes shimmered with happiness.

I fed him a few more scoops until he said I should have the rest.

It was time to leave sigh what a day. The waiter came back with the check.

"Here's the check" the waiter gave us. Kevin took out his wallet and paid for it. He's so sweet.

"Let's go" Kim said.

"Ashley aren't u coming?" I questioned.

"No u guys go ahead" she replied.

Ashley POV

I checked my watch

"Yay it's 4:30. I finally get to see him."

He took off his name tag and placed it in his locker then headed my way.

"Hey" he kissed me on the cheek. I smiled at him.

"You ready to go" he held out his hand. I got up and held it.

"Babe, Jay invited us to go to the skating club..you want to come?" He asked me while walking down the street.

"Sure I'll come" I answered.

We headed towards the roller skating club in just a few minutes. Entering the building we saw a lot of school mates. Wait if they're here that means James and his posey is here. Ugh.

"Wassup Lil bro" he held Jay in a headlock.

"Ahhh Ryan!" Jay tried getting out.

"Long time no see huh?" He let him go and ruffled Jay's hair.

"Yah...oh hi Ashley" Jay noticed me.

"Hi Jay " I shyly answered.

"We're gonna skate now you guys wanna come" Jay asked as he fixed his hair.

"Sure" I replied.

We went to the booth on the side and got our shoe sizes then went back to the benches and put them on. Personally I wasn't a good skater at all I don't know why I agreed to come here in the first place. Oh right I came here cause of Jay.
Ryan was having trouble with his skates so I asked him "Do you need help?"

"Please" he gave up.

I held the skates as he slid his foot in and I tied the lace.

"Thanks babe"

"Your welcome " I got up and entered the rink. I began skating around having fun and tripping one or two times while Ryan had trouble moving off.

I started skating backwards.

"Ryan just push off with your feet and keep your balance" I shouted.

"It's not hard- ahh" I stumbled into someone's arms.

"Ashley be careful. Don't want you to get hurt" his eyes gleamed.

"OK Jay sorry" I stood back up. My face was red ,I think he could see it.

I need to leave now. I got out of the rink and quickly took off my skates.

"Ryan I have to leave uhhh Amy called me" I lied and kissed him on the cheek before getting out of the building.

It was scary walking down the cold street alone. Unusual noises heard but I got home safely.

"Mia, I just saw Ashley walking down the street alone it seems as if she ran away but she's heading home "

Amy POV

"Thanks for driving me home Kevin"

"No problem Amy" he placed his hands on his lap.

"Go inside its getting cold. I'll come by tomorrow. " he smiled

I came out of the car and went towards the building. He watched me until I disappeared down the hall as the door shut.

-few minutes later-

I laid in bed scrolling through my phone when I got a text from Kimberly.

Kim- "hey. I have a question"

Me -"I'm listening "

Kim -"do u like Kevin?"

Me -"No! he's my best friend"

Kim- "OK got to go now.....see u Monday bye!"

Me -"bye"

I put down my phone and relax to sleep. What Kim said about me liking Kevin. Why would she ask me that....we're just best friends.....nothing else
