Chapter 1:

The clock read 10:00 but nothing seemed right at the West Side Apartment Complex. It was quiet, too quiet. Quietness is a good thing and you think I should enjoy it right, but I don't. With my neighbors about to get a divorce and their 4 children it should never be quiet. I tried to shake it off as I lay staring at the ceiling. My young mind starts to wonder to the criminal shows I watched not an hour earlier. I began to wonder if it was worth the stress, so I got out of bed to see for myself.

I was not sure what to do so I went to the bedroom across from mine and woke up my mom and dad.
"I know it's late but I think something is wrong with the neighbors, the castles." I say worried.
"Your probably just over reacting." They reply calmly.
"Can you just go check after that I will go right to bed. Please?" I imply desperately.
"Ok but you have to go right to bed when we get back. Let's go."
