It has been a whole week since I had joined the organization, I learned fairly quick on how things were run here. Xemnas was the leader, Saix was the second in command, and the members were the followers. We all had to do their bidding, unable to disobey an order, unless you wanted to become a dusk. I learned later the Silver things I encountered on the day I was fleeing from them were called Dusks. Dusks are nobodies who had been killed or died. I went on many missions and rose up in the ranks of the organization, I gained access to their store and was able to obtain a whip, the whip was purple with silver spikes on the last foot of it. Yesterday I helped take down a renegade heartless and its cronies, afterwards Axel met with me on the clock tower with ice cream. Today was another large mission day for me, I wondered if I would be paired with Axel today. "You will be going alone to Twilight Town to find the giant heartless wandering around alone." Saix said as I walked up to him. "Yes sir." I sighed understanding that Axel wouldn't be joining me. "Good Morning Danax." Axel greeted behind me. I looked at him hidden behind my hood, opened a dark portal and walked through not uttering a word. When I got to town I whispered, "Good morning Axel." before walking towards the hole to the forest. I always checked there to be sure the heartless wasn't there, this time was different. I was passing a large tree when a sticky tounge attached to my leg and dragged me into a clearing, before an abandoned mansion. The giant heartless was a cameleon of some kind, I whipped it's tounge and sprang away. Its eyes flashed yellow and it shot a beam right into my eyes. 'damn! I can't see, I will have to rely on sound.' I thought as I skirted the clearing. I heard the swish of its tail and lashed out at the sound, it's tail crashed into my ribs, sending me flying into a tree. I rose and leaned against the trunk of the tree and called forth a cluster of arrows. I waited to hear a sound,when I heard something move I shot all the arrows. I heard a satisfying thump and the desintigration to a heart, a light pink glow was in my eyes and I reached for it. The heart felt warm and tingled with light, before diappearing. I sighed and made my way to the clock tower blindly.
When I finally made it to the top of the tower steps I heard Axel talking to someone or something. "You'll be joining us soon. We will be glad to have you, I know that Danax will be happy to meet you as well. At least if she shows." He said. "Really?" a boys voice asked. I stared blindly at the corner and waited; Axel said something and the boy laughed. I remember turning and disappearing in the quick portal back to the castle. I wandered the inside of the castle before I ran into someone. "Oh! Danax, what are you doin here?" Axel asked. I felt my face grow cold, I kept my face hidden behind the hood and answered, "I was wandering around blindly." "What?! When did that happen?!" he cried. I felt my hood being pulled back and I instantly reacted by lashing out with a slash of light. I heard the rip of cloth and Axel suck in a breath. My vision was still clouded, but I looked around blindly looking for where he was. "I'm right here." he sighed facing me towards him. I relaxed and widened my eyes, I felt every tendon tight, he wasn't impressed. "Why won't you show your real face?" he asked quietly. I looked at him and didn't answer, I didn't want to tell him that I heard him talking to some boy. I heard him sigh and then I felt my feet lift off the ground. "Hey! Put me down!!" I cried kicking my feet a little. "No, you can't see. And not until you tell me what's going on." he snapped putting me over his shoulder.
I struggled till he gave me a cure blind potion and my vision cleared up instantly. I blinked my eyes blearily, then I saw his green/blue eyes right infront of me. "Now! Why wont you show your face to me anymore?" he asked his eyes flashing. The flutter in my stomach came again, I ignored it and pulled back my hood, decideing to show him how I felt. His eyes roved over mine, I said, "The reason is...I didn't want you to see the weird feeling in my eyes." He looked at me quizically before saying, "True we don't have hearts. It doesn't mean we can learn to feel. What you feel is lonelyness." I decided to let those words sink in and looked to the side. "..Wait! You saw me with the new recruit didn't you?" he asked smiling. I looked down as heat rushed to my face. "You did!!! You are jealous." he said. "Fine! yes I'm jealous. I liked it just being you and me." I answered shoving his shoulders. He smirked and shook his head, letting me have my space. "Roxas is a good person, he is a bit of a zombie still." he said looking at me. I let my eyes look to the corner of the room and answered, "Okay, then I want to meet him tomorrow." Axel chuckled, "Just meet him tonight, there is a meeting tonight." I smiled and followed him to the doors to the round room. A boy with blond spiked hair, dark blue eyes waited, a blank expression across his face. "Hey Roxas." Axel greeted walking to his side. He looked at Axel and smiled shyly in answer. I stayed where I was when Axel turned to me and said, "Come over here Danax. Don't stand there like a Zombie too." I laughed and joined him, Roxas turned to me and looked in wonder. "Hello Roxas, number thirteen." I greeted. Roxas looked at me up and down and then nodded in answer. "Zombie." Axel teased just as the door opened.
We led Roxas into the round room and I looked up at Xemnas sitting tall in his high-backed chair. "Danax shouldn't you be sitting in your place?" Saix asked coldly. I looked at him and narrowed my eyes. "You don't dictate where I sit or stand Saix." I snapped. Axel eyed me from the corner of his eye and led Roxas to the center of the room. I leaned against the pillar my chair stood atop of, and watched. "Good tidings friends. Today is a momentous day. Today we have received the one to lead up to salvation. The key weilder." Xemnas began. I eyed Roxas and felt as if something was off about him, his body emnating a hidden light. The others were pleased about him joining, others eyed me. I knew what they were thinking, 'what are we gonna use her for now?' I pulled my hood over my face and left the room, weather I was dismissed or not. When I emerged from the darkness I was in the lobby. "How dare you leave before the meeting was adjourned!" Saix hissed behind me. I felt my lips curve up and I answered, "It doesn't matter to me, I'm gonna be turned into a dusk soon right?" I heard him suck in a breath his thoats racing to find a snide remark, "...." I chuckled softly and asked, "What's the mission for today?" He immediatly regained his composure and answered, "There is actually a week or so long mission you will be going on today. Others will join you shortly." I turned to him and waited for him to say where. He sneered his eyes narrowed, "You will be going to castle oblivion to eradicate heartless and two traitors." My eyes widened at the thought of there being a traitor in the organization. "You will find out who later, the others are coming, you leave in ten minutes." He continued before turning and walking to stand before the large glass windows.
I sighed and walked to a corner of the room and watched members slowly enter the lobby. Ten minutes passed rather quickly, when Axel entered the room it was time for me to leave. I opened the darkness and was about to walk inside when he said, "Danax!" I turned my eyes hidden within my hood, "Yes?" "Where are you going?" he asked curiosity shinning in his eyes. I smiled as I walked into the darkness, "C.O." I didn't hear his answer the darkness closed behind me and sent me to Castle Oblivion.
The castle itself was grand, but it tugged at my memories trying to take them, but I refused to release them. I exterminated heartless as I wandered around, but I knew there would just be more if I kept trying to exterminate them. I wandered around till I found a pair of large gold doors, curiosity peaked within me so I opened them and found a large super computer waiting. I walked up to the keys and felt my fingers instantly search for something. I looked at the words typed in the search box and it said, 'Danax.' The computer searched then a couple of files showed up on the screen. The first one showed when I joined and where I was during the time I was being chased. The second one showed my skills all listed, even the ones I couldn't use yet. I memorized the ones I didn't know and then clicked on the last file. In it was a form about what I would be doing in the organization, it said, 'She has much potential, she is usefull beyond any of us could imagine. but she lacks in the true power that will make her ready for when the time of awakening comes. if she doesn't discover it soon, we will make her by torture. once we are done with her, we will destroy her, she will be of no use to us.' I felt my face blanch at the words printed before me, I cleared the history of my search and left the room and wondered how Axel was doing.
