"Shane... hey Shane. Wake up!" Harmony said excitedly, shaking Shane's leg.

He groaned and wearily said, "What?"

"We have to be at the docs at 8. Its 7:04 right now."

"Uggghhhh okay."

Shane dragged himself out of bed and changed his clothes. He went down the hall, into the kitchen, and got some Pumpkin Pete's cereal out of the pantry.

He eyed the girl on the box. Pyrrha Nikos from Mistral. She won their regional tournament 3 years in a row. He looked at her bright green eyes and started thinking of how pretty she is.

"She's my celebrity crush." He whispered to himself.

Time went on nothing exciting happened. Every once in a while they'd hear people walking past the shack to get to the loading area.

"Its 7:47, we should probably go." Harmony said.

Shane nodded and grabbed Dark Moon and placed it in the sheath.

The four walked out of the shack. Shane turned and got one last look at his home.

Shane turned to see a girl with gold hair looking at the four. She seemed confused so he asked, "You okay?"

Shane looked at her and she didn't respond, she kept the same confused look on her face. Her eyes widened as hers met Shane's.

"Oh! Your talking to me. Yeah, am I going in the right direction to get picked up for the Academy?"

"It depends which Academy are you going to?"

"Oh did I not say. Beacon. I'm going to Beacon." The girl said sounding like had just faced trauma. There was obviously something that kept catching her off guard.

"Okay you can just follow us then. We're going to Beacon as well!" Harmony said cheerfully.

"Okay. Thanks. I'm Sabrina Bold. Whats your names?"

"I'm Shane Glas."

"Dakota Ungu."

"My name is Willow Roze!"

"Harmony Caelum."

"Nice to meet you all. Have you seen my brother Dirk Bold? He's a deer faunas. I'm also a deer faunas if you couldn't tell." She said gesturing to her antlers.

"Sorry no. We should probably go to the docs so we don't miss our
airship." Dakota said.

The five walked through woods in silence until they got to the docks. Shane saw familiar faces and among them, few he didn't recognize.

"Oh! Hey there's my brother. I better go." Sabrina said running towards her brother.

"Bye!" Shane said cheerfully.

"I hope the airships get here soon. Its kinda cold." Willow said shivering.

Shane felt a sudden gust of wind and looked over the trees to see an airship with Beacon's symbol on the side.

As they got on the ship Shane noticed a very mean looking boy. The boy had a "possy" with him. He directed his attention to Dakota, Shane, and Harmony and pursued towards them.

Shane tried to not look at him but it was too late, he was standing there before them.

"Hey guys look." He said tapping one of his friends on the shoulder and laughing. "Look at these freaks."

"Nice one, Scar." A boy from behind him said chuckling.

"Come on guys. Just ignore them." I said walking away holding Harmony's hand.

"I didn't say you could leave." The boy said throwing Shane back which led to Harmony flying back.

"Hey leave them alone!" A girl with black and green hair said from behind them.

"Stay out of this." He said angrily and smacked her across the face. She fell to the ground and Shane became furious.

He pushed his hand towards him, using his telekinesis, the boy flew back and landed into the other four boys and fell to the ground.

Shane walked over to the girl who had just been smacked. He held his hand out to her and said, "Thanks.... umm."

"Oh. I'm Jade Meers." She said taking his hand.

"Well thanks. I'm Shane Glas."

Jade smiled and walked back to her friends as he walked to a corner and sat down.

Harmony decided to stay with Willow and a Dakota while Shane sat and looked around the room for any familiar faces. His eyes stopped on a small girl with bright orange hair.

"Dawn? Is that you?" The girl looked over at him and smiled. "It is you! Harmony come here."

The two girls walked over and Harmony looked over to see Dawn standing in front of her. Her eyes widened and she gave Dawn a hug.

"Oh my gosh! How are you?" Harmony said excitedly.

Dawn gave her a thumbs up and Shane stood up and gave her a hug.

"Your ears are getting bigger!" Shane said pointing to her sunset orange bunny ears.

She closed her eyes and nodded with a big smile.

"So how's the mute thing working out?" A familiar voice from behind her said. Shane looked up and saw Scar reaching to pull her ears.

Dawn turned around to see him and ran behind Shane.

"That's not funny." Shane said angrily.

"Okay! Faunas have no right being here. Their all worthless mutts." He stopped because Harmony punched him in the head with her dark blue gauntlets.

The boy was knocked out cold and his friends slowly backed away with their hands up. Fear in their eyes.

Dawn smiled and pointed back to her friends.

"Okay it was good to see you." Harmony said waving her hands as Dawn walked away. "So, you think we'll get made fun of a lot?"

Shane sighed but answered with a yes.

"We should have gone to Vacuo. That way we wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb." Harmony said sarcastically.

"Yeah but Vacuo is very dangerous. Its not my ideal place to be. Beacon is different though."

Harmony walked back over to Dakota and Willow while Shane stayed sitting in the corner. He started looking around for more people but only saw people he didn't care to see again.

He rested his head in his knees until his right cheetah ear was pulled and he stood up.

He looked up to see a boy pulling him up. Shane cried out in pain as the boy kept on pulling.

Shane used his telekinesis to make him stop. The boy looked at him angrily and reached for his ear again but Shane used his whip and slung it around the boys ankle. He pulled up and the boy fell to ground, hit his head, and passed out.

Shane touched his now bleeding cheetah ear. He tried wiping away the blood but it was no good.

Harmony gave him a rag and held it up to his ear.

"I got it. I kinda wanna be alone, I'm not feeling to good."

She nodded and went back over to the others. Shane quickly fell asleep.

He woke up to see Harmony sitting in front of him. She took the dry rag out of his hand and said, "I though you would like to see this."

She stood up and lead him to a window. He looked out to see Beacon. He saw many people outside and other airships landing. He eyed the the tall tower and focused on the illuminating lights. He then focused on the courtyard that lead to the massive cliff. He felt a rush of excitement go through his body.
