Casey awoke again, unaware of where she was. Then, when her mind started working again, she realised she was in the Homestead. She was in a bed with white sheets and someone that she saw earlier. It was one of the Medjacks. She sat up in the bed and looked at him. He finally noticed that Casey had awakened and came over to greet her.

"You have been asleep for about four days," he told her, "and perfect timing. Your associate woke at the same time."

"Associate?" Casey asked.

"The other girl. She woke up just this morning, a few hours before you." He added.

"Oh, okay. How is she?" Casey questioned.

"Dunno. Been looking after you the whole time. Could hardly get the food down your throat." He replied. A knock came from the door. He went to the door and let the people in.

It was Newt and Thomas.

"You feeling better?" Newt asked, pulling up a chair for himself and Thomas be her bed.

"Yeah." Casey replied, "Apparently, I slept for ages."

"Yeah, and a lot of stuff happened in that time." Newt glared at Thomas. Casey just sat there confused.

"While she was asleep, Teresa said that she had memories come back to her, did you?" Thomas asked.

"I pretty much fell asleep and woke up, really. Although, I did see a few blurry images, but nothing I could comprehend." Casey lied. She was not about to tell them that yet.

"Thomas here, says that he can remember you. Any striking of a memory of his shuck face?" Newt asked, staring at Casey.

Casey did know him. She remembered him. But she could not say that. She had to stick to the plan. She studied his face.

"No, sorry." Casey studied her hands and fiddled with her fingers.

"Ok, then. Well, do you remember anything from the dreams?" Newt threw another question.

"I can remember something about an ending of some sort." Casey picked out.

"That is exactly what Teresa said. Something about you two triggering the Endin when you came here." Thomas explained.

"This is all bloody shucked up." Newt ran his finger through his hair, "First we get you. Then two girls. Then the buggin' doors don't close.

"Better put you in the Slammer with the other girl what's her face. Teresa. At least you'll be safe from the Grievers." Newt stood up and moved his chair, "Come on."

Casey climbed out of the sheets and found her shoes by her bed. She hurriedly put them on and followed the two boys. As they were walking towards the Slammer, she had the courage to talk to Thomas.

"So, how can you remember me?" Casey asked.

"I really don't know. Just when you both arrived, I felt like I knew you. That's it." Thomas did not look at her, but straight ahead. Newt, who was already there, opened the door and Teresa was slouching on the wall opposite the door.

"You are gonna have a roommate for the night." Newt told Teresa as Casey waked in.

"Hey." Casey spoke as she walked in.

"Hey." Teresa responded.

"Sweet dreams, ladies." Newt said. The bolt of the door clicked.
