Dyre’s POV

Once the two brothers retreated, I leant back in my seat feeling quite satisfied. I knew there would be plenty of delicious looking boys that came to this camp. Rich people tended to look good. That’s just how it worked. I wasn’t emo, though I probably did look like it.

My hair was jet black, long, that it travelled just past my shoulders, and silky. I had a lip ring, that I absolutely adored, and I had many tattoos lacing my arms. Dark makeup clouded my eyes, and I looked totally cool. My brother Ashley, also did his makeup, but his was a lot calmer, and more…should I say, tame. He didn’t have as many tattoos as I had either, but all the girls and guys were all over him either way. Just like me.

But this new kid that came here…he was delicious. I could already see myself doing very naughty things to him, and I planned on doing something later once I got out of this hell hole of an office. Why was I working in here anyway? Oh, yeah, because my parents thought it would be humorous that I have a job. I wanted to come here, so I didn’t complain. I was complaining now though, I had only been sitting here for, oh say…three or so hours, and I already wanted to kill someone.

Ashley was off, being a lifeguard, I think. I should have taken that job! It was a lot more fun, maybe I could transfer? The idea had me so excited I was nearly bouncing in my seat. I ignored the guy sitting next to me who was giving me a weird look. I didn’t bother learning people’s names…unless they could help me with things…Like Gabriele…I licked my lips again, but my mind quickly reverted back to the lifeguarding dilemma. I didn’t have a license. I would need to sign up for lessons…That would be fun I’m sure…dragging sexy boys out of the water, should be an interesting experience.

But for now, I would need to stay here until my shift was over. Hopefully it would be the last one too.

I played with my hair, feeling bored. It was a nervous tick I had, it was a wonder my hair never got greasy from the amount of times my hands sifted through it.

People came and went, and I kept twiddling with my thumbs letting the other dude do all the work. He didn’t complain, I guess it was the aura I gave off. I managed to doodle some while the sun slowly went further and further down.

At five o’clock my shift was over. I thanked every deity I knew, and left the office, immediately making my way towards the bunkhouses. I took the back road, where the forest was. Trucks went by every so often, that was why this path was here…I think, anyway. It was mostly empty, since the trucks only ever came if repairs were needed. Now the path was clear, and the sun was still high in the sky, bright as ever.

Unusually, it lifted my spirits. I liked the dark, the cloudy, the rain. It matched me very well. Like my outfit for example. It never really changed.  Black fitted t-shirt, and black leather pants, or black skinny jeans, combat boots or converse…pretty simple… but whatever it was I wore, it was tight, and black. I chuckled thinking about the looks I received. Everyone called me emo, but I really just wasn’t.
