Yasu Tachibana woke up to the feeling of a blanket being put around her. She looked over to see a flight attendant, putting a blanket around her. The flight attendant doesn't notice Yasu awake and continues on.

Yasu Tachibana, even though she is 16, she looked younger than 16, because of how small her figure was. At 4ft. 9, the only thing to keep people from thinking of her as a little child was the aura she gave off. The mature and the been through more than most people auras.

Yasu, felt more safe than ever, so she fell asleep, once more.

~time skip because I don't want to bore you guys with the very long security checks at the airport~

"Finally, I'm out of the long line of people." Yasu quietly mutters to herself as she goes out to the bus that she was taking next, to get to her destination.

She takes her suitcase and puts it in the storage area on the bus. She then boards the bus.

She finds her seat and sits down. A few minutes later, a friendly woman in her late twenties sits down next to Yasu.

"Hello, how do you do?" She asked Yasu.

"I'm doing well thank you, and you?"

"I'm just tired from traveling, thank you for asking. You seem to have an accent. Where are you from?"

"I'm from Tokyo, Japan. My English isn't very good."

"Wow, is this your first time here?"

"Yes," she forced a smile," I wanted to see how different parts of the world looked like, so I came all the way to the U.S."

"You speak English pretty well for a foreigner. By the way, my name is Carolyn, Carolyn Hernandez."

"My name's Yasu Tachibana, nice to meet you,"

"Nice to meet you, too,"

They shook hands.

The two talked through the entire bus ride and once the bus arrived at their destination, they both got off and got their suitcases and headed their own separate ways.

Yasu goes around the city to see if there were any place she could rent out. She soon found a supposively haunted house that the owner was pretty quick to sell at $500. The house didn't have a basement or an attic, but every single person that lived there, was killed. All of the people had a smile carved into their faces and the walls were painted with their blood and spelled out Go to sleep.

Yasu finds that the house is clean of blood and any kind of furniture. However, the scent was another story. There was still the smell of blood in the air and because of the ghoul's heightened scenes, the scent of the blood made Yasu slowly get hungry.

She takes what ever money she had left, which is $6,000, and goes to an appliance store. She buys a refrigerator, a washer, and a dryer. She had them delivered to her house, when the store got them. She also buys a table with two chairs, which she carries home and sets them up. She then goes to find food.

She walks into an alleyway, puts on her mask, and jumps on to the top of the building next to it, so that she could see the prey.

I went hunting for the first time, in this town. I was on top of a building, looking down to see someone coming into the alley. I looked down at my prey, I took out my kagune and prepared to jump, when I smelled blood, and burnt flesh. There wasn't just one person's blood on that person, there was multiple, no, there was more than that. It would be dangerous to go after this person, but my hunger over rules my common sense. I prepare to jump down and kill, but something catches my eye.

The person in the alleyway wipes the blood from his knife. He looks up to exhale when he sees a small girl jumping down, with something coming out from her back.

"Oh, shit,"

He quickly puts his knife up as a defense. She twists midair to land in front of him. Her wing like structure, coming from her back, retracts and a tentacle like structure comes out. She lashes out at him, while he blocks and defends himself.

A group of three teenage boys hear the sounds of them clashing and walks in to the alley way. What they see is a guy, wearing a hoodie covered in so much blood that you aren't able to tell what color it is, and a girl wearing a white marble like mask with white tentacles coming out from her back.

One of them, freezes in fear, the second, backing up slightly, getting ready to run, and the third, well, let's just say that he had no idea what was going on.

Yasu notices them and finds them an easier target, so she quickly impales them using her kagune, killing them before they are able to make a sound. She rips off their limbs and quickly devours one of their arms. Her hunger, now satisfied, went away.

She looks back to see the person trying to plunge his knife into her. He succeeds, but only partly. Yasu made no move to block the incoming weapon, instead she let it hit her. Instead of the knife going into her, the knife bent backwards on itself. The stunned dude stayed still while Yasu studied his face. He had pale skin that had a slight scent of bleach and burnt flesh. His mouth was cut further than it should have gone, giving him an everlasting smile. As soon as she finished analyzing his face, she put the limbs into a bag and she ran away from him.

That was an interesting human. He looked as if he had gone through some hard stuff when he was younger. He seems to be around the age of 17. I have enough food for the rest of this month, at least I hope so. I am intrigued by this human though. I hope I get to see him again.

She jumps to the roof of her house and takes off her mask and goes in to her house. She drops off her bag and goes back out to buy a futon, if they sell any.

She finds a store where they sold traditional Asian items. She buys a futon, a comforter, and a pillow. Along the way, she also bought a phone and a television. Once she got home, it was already 9:00 pm. She set up the television and the futon. She turned the TV on to a local news channel.

"There were bodies of three teenage boys, who were identified as Johnathan, Edward, and Thomas. The police suspects this to be the work of the same serial killer that killed several people in the last few weeks. Please be careful of going into alley ways and be on the lookout of suspicious people."

I'm guessing the serial killer they were talking about was that one person with the carved smile. I know for a fact he isn't a ghoul, so does that mean he's killing for fun? This human really grabs my attention.

She turns off the TV and falls asleep, under the watchful eye of the "ghost" of the house.
