Chapter 11

Yasu's PoV

As soon as the bus started moving, I felt as if something was different, but I brush the feeling aside and continue to read.

3rd person PoV

Yasu soon gets captured by the words of the book. The bus drives up to the bus stop Yasu gets off at and the bus driver called out behind him,"Hey, don't you have to get off here?"

Yasu looks up and sees the place she needs to get off at. She gets up and gets off the bus while shouting, "Thank you,"

The bus driver smile and drives to the next stop.

Yasu walks to Hughes High school with her nose buried in her book. Three boys slowly and quietly follow her. Once she was waiting for the red light to turn green, the boys got closer, but doesn't get too close to Yasu. The light turns green and Yasu keeps walking to the school entrance. When she was a block away from the school entrance, the boys run up to Yasu in a straight line. The first person aims a punch to her head, but Yasu turns around and whacks him in the head with the book she was reading. The second person aims a kick towards her leg as soon as the first person was whacked. Yasu makes eye contact with him and jumps over him. The third person uses this chance to tackle Yasu.

He runs towards Yasu and jumps on her while shouting,"Yasu!!!"

"Aww, why did you let him catch you and not us?" The first attacker says.

"Because Ricky was the only one that didn't try to punch or kick me." Yasu replies as Ricky cutely grins.

"You always let Ricky catch you even when we do different things. Isn't that right, Erik?"

The second attacker, Erik, is dusting himself off and checking for any injuries on all of them.

"Erik?" The first attacker, Aiden, says because Erik is looking intently at Yasu left foot.

"Yasu, you twisted your left foot, when you jumped, didn't you?" Erik says completely ignoring Aiden.

Yasu looks down to see her left foot,"No, it was more like a slight muscle pull."

Erik just nods.

Ricky checks his watch and says,"You guys, the bell is going to ring in 10 minutes. We're going to be late."

Aiden starts running and shouts behind him,"Race you all there,"

Ricky runs after him yelling,"Hey, wait for me."

Yasu laughs at the two, but soon stops when Erik picks her up and runs after them.

The four unusual group of friends runs down the street with one of them being carried.

Erik is the tallest at 6' 1". He has dark brown hair with hazel colored eyes. He's on the football team and the wrestling team. He has a quiet and strong, yet caring personality. He really enjoy being around kids and wants to go into the medical field, so he is planning on being a pediatrician.

Aiden is 5'7" and is more of a technology guy. He participates in one sport, soccer, and is taking several computer classes. He has knowledge of a bit of martial arts and several other sports. He has dirty blonde hair and blue-gray and green-gray eyes, which are dependent on the weather. He is very fun to be around, and hates to be bested by girls. He is very talkative, but not boastful.

Ricky is a bit taller than Yasu. At 5'4", he is shorter than the other two, but his bubbly and cutesy personality makes up for it. His personality changes when he is practicing for cross country, when he is in a race, or when one of his friends are in trouble. Even though he has a bubbly personality, he wants to be a lawyer.
