I was just finishing packing my bag when my father walked in. How can I even call him my father? He is a creature, a horrible, death-bringing creature. I look like him aswell, pale skin, jet black hair, I also have red eyes but my cyan contacts cover them up. My dad makes me wear a mini version of his clothes, I hate them, they make me stand out. I hate standing out, being the centre of attention.

"Where on earth do you think your going?" My father shouted as he stomed into my room, nearly breaking down my door. My bedroom is the only place I can sit down and think, lookes like I'm not going to be getting much of that now.

"The overworld" I mumbled. I clenching my fists, He was going to hit me, like he always does, I wouldn't expect any different.

"You are not going up there" My father shouted, I clenched my fists even more, my fingernails digging into my hands. "Don't ignore me!" He said, He slapped me, my face burned, it always does, he has an addiction to violence. I can't stand to live under his rule anymore.

"No father, I am going! I'm not like you, I don't bring pain and horror everywhere I go, I don't kidnap and kill people for my pleasure. And I don't and never ever will be anything like you! I wish I was never born!" I shouted, I sprinted out of the house, running for my life because I knew, from this moment on, till I die, my father will cause me pain and fear.

By the time I reached the overworld, I had tears streaming down my face. Oh Notch, I bet I looked a mess, how pathetic a 16 year old girl, crying her eyes out. I break the portal to stop my father from following me, it's pointless though, he will find me and kill me.

I clean myself up, pull on my backpack and walk away, trying to put my old life behind me.
