I carry on walking, it was getting dark. I kicked leaves trying to think of anything to put my father behind me, to take my mind off him. I look up and pause in shock, A huge white factory with a face of that looks familiar, it's the dwarf, Honeydew. I nearly cry, the memories, the nightmares, I tried to help...

I am shocked out of my trance by a man, he wears a white lab coat and goggles, his blonde hair messy. As soon as I see him I use my hair to cover up my bruised eye, my still red cheek.

"Hello there!" He smiles "Can I help you?" I look back at the building and burst out crying this sends the man hysterical. "Oh, urm.. I, I'm sorry is it something I said?" I shook my head, snuffling, I force myself to stop crying. He seem's nice, will he be when I tell him where I come from. I let him lead me to a small house facing the large white building. The man sits me down on a bed with a sign above it labled ' DUNCAN'S BED'.

"What's wrong?" The scientist askes putting an arm around my sholder. I take a deep breath.

"You don't want to know." I mumble back. The scientist just smiles at me, gladly, he doesn't push any further.

"I'll make you a bed for the night." The man says as he gets up. "I'm sorry, I hope you don't mind, but I didn't catch your name."

"Kat" I smile

"I'm Lalna" He smiled back and placed a bed down by a window. " Do you have a family?" he asked. I knew this question was coming. I brace myself.

"Look, I'm nothing like him, I wish he wasn't my father, that's why I ran away, I hate him for what he did..." I rush, Lalna blank face show's no emotion. I sigh heavily. "Please don't hate me, I am Israphel's daugher"

Lalna face turnes to shock and horror, I try my hardest not to cry, and fail. Lalna's face turnes to guilt. " I'm sorry, I'm just shocked" Lalna says cautiously.

"Please don't hate me" I whisper. We sit there in silence for a bit. Then Lalna pipes up.

"Why did you run away?" I wipe away a tear and pull back my hair showing my bruised eye and the outline of a hand on my cheek, I hear Lalna inhale in shock, he walkes up to me and hugs me, I cry on his sholder, for the first time in a long time, I let out all my sadness. I go to sleep with Lalna stroking my hair. He's the first father-like figure I've had in a long time.
