Emma's POV

After all that yesterday, Rick said I could share a tent with Carl. It wasn't werid, he just so cute and funny. Him and my sister would get along really well. I rolled over on my sleeping bag and saw Carl still asleep, and he looked like he was having a nightmare. I got out of my sleeping bag and moved to cuddle him, whispering sweet things in his ear. He woke up and smiled at me, I smiled down at him, then he left while I got changed (outfit above) and left the tent. "Your a site for sore eyes." Rick said walking over to me. "Thanks I guess, where's Carl gone? I wanted to spend some time with him." I replied, "Um, I think he went to the quarry with Shane, that's my best friend. But you could help with the washing. The girls have just gone down there." He said pushing a basket into my hands and pushing down the road to the quarry. "But I don't know any of them." I said trying to get out of it. "Well get to know then then." He said.

We then reached the girls. "Hello ladies, this is Holly and she will be helping you with the washing." Rick said smiling at me then walking off. I awkwardly turned to them and smiled. "Hello, I'm Andrea and this is my sister Amy." A blonde woman said, pointing to another blonde. "And I'm Carol and this is Jacqui." A older frail women said pointing to a bit younger black women. "Hello, what basket should I do first?" I asked looking at them all. "Um you could do this one." Amy said with a smirk and I just gave her a confused look, "Thanks I guess." I said grabbing the basket and sitting next to her.

We talked for a while and she was really sweet. "I miss coffee." Jacqui said breaking the awkward silence. "I miss texting and my tv." Me and Amy said at the same time, we looked at each other and giggled. I like this girl. "I miss my vibrator." Andrea said and we all laughed. "Me too." Carol said which sent us into more hysterics.

"You better working and not sqooching off work." Some guy at a car said, looking at Carol. "We are Ed, don't worry." Carol said, "You telling me what to do huh?" This Ed said getting up and getting in Carol's face. "No I wasn't." I got up and pushed him away. "You stay away from her got it?" I said with a menacing look. He tried to get Carol by grabbing her arm but I bit his hand and kicked him in the balls. "I said to stay away from her. I knew someone like you and trust me, around me they didn't last long." I said while turning back to my washing. I heard him getting up and he slapped Carol. I shot up, pushed him to the ground and repeatedly punched him, until someone took me off of him. I turned and saw that is was Daryl. I pushed his arms of me and kicked Ed one more time before walking off.

I head back up to the tent and stayed there alone for a few minutes untillll. "Hey, what the hell do you think your doing?" Daryl asked, "I was sticking up for a group member,why did you take me off?" I said while getting in his face. "You were going to kill him." He said getting in mine. "It's not the first time I've done that. People like him don't deserve to leave." I said and with that I turned around and got in bed. I couldn't be dealing with this bullshit.

Carl came in a few minutes later and we talked for a while until Lori came in saying that he had to go to sleep. So I fell asleep with him in my arms.
