Swimming And Chats With Lori

Holly's POV

I could feel someone shaking me a wake, so I opened one eye had saw it was Carl. "Get up, my mum said you have to look after me today." He said with a smile. I smiled back and told him to wait outside while I got changed. I walked out and Carl was still there, thank god. He has a tendency to leave for a while. "Hey, do you wanna go for a swim? We could get some more people to join." I suggested, "I would but I don't have anything to wear." He said in a sad voice. "Well, I do, just go ask your mum. And say your with me." I said while going back into the tent. I grabbed my bag and stuffed somethings inside.

I walked out and went over to Amy, Em and Sophia. "Hey guys, would you like to go swimming with me and Carl?" I asked while sitting down. "We would but we have nothing." Amy said. I gave her a smirk and took out a blue bikini. "Here you go." I said giving it to her. "Thank you Holly." She said running into her tent. I turned to Em and Sophia. "Here you go guys." I said handing them some bikinis. I gave a pink filly one to Sophia and a white and black polka dot one. They ran back to there tents to get changed and I went to mine.

On the way I bumped into Daryl, literally. "Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going." I said about to go round him. "You better watch where you walk then huh." He said with a smile, I smiled, "Thank you for saving me, and for carrying me on the horse." I said shyly. "It's okay, don't mention it, really." He said, then he walked over to Rick. I wonder what there talking about?As I walked over to my tent, Rick shouted that he wanted to talk to me, well all of us.

After, I walked down to the quarry and I got a few whistles but I ignored them. It was stupid. I walked to the waters edge, and I was about to jump when I saw Sophia looking scared. "What's up sweetie?" I asked walking over to her. "I don't wanna go in on my own but I don't wanna be near you, no offense but you beat up my daddy." She said backing away. "Hey, it's okay I won't hurt you. I only did that because he hit your mummy in front of everyone, I was protecting her." I said with a smile and she smiled back and walked forward taking my hand. "Together?" She asked, "Together." I said and we jumped in from the rocks. I stayed under but she went straight up. I swam towards Carl and pulled him under, he screamed and took a breathe. When he was under he turned to me and smiled, I smiled back and took us both us.

After a few hours of it, I got out but stayed at the waters edge. Lori came running down the bath and sat next to me. "Thank you, for bringing him out here, I just don't think he wants to be around his mother 24/7 and he's taking a shining to you. I saw you take him under and he never looked more happy to see you." She said with a small smile. "Your welcome, I would be more than happy to look after him more. I really like the kid, he's like my younger brother." I said with a smile while looking at Carl. "You know, this morning he came into wake me up and he did nothing but talk about you, it was cute." She said looking at Carl as well. "Really? Well as I said he's like my little brother, I would do anything for him." I said looking at her this time, "I know you would and he would as well. He kept saying that as well." She replied.

I just smiled and continued watching Carl, while I did, Lori left and head back up to camp. Maybe I should as well. "Come on guys, back up to camp!" I shouted, "Ok, I was going to get out anyway." Em said with a fake pout. "Come it's getting dark and Rick wanted to talk to us anyway." I said, while picking up everyone's belonging's. "Ok, ok were coming." She shouted back and they all got out and we walked back into camp. We quickly got changed then headed to Rick. I wonder what he wanted to talk about?
