In the night {ON HOLD}

"Dragon Alley" or something

Kait Ribbon had received her Hogwarts letter just a week ago and, like her parents, started to believe it was a cruel joke. She looked around her room. It was like a comfortable library. There was no bed. Pillows and cushions everywhere with bookshelves surrounding the walls. If it was true, the letter, she would leave in two weeks. Sighing, Kait pulled a book, called treasure hunters, out of her shelf. She only got to read a chapter , however, when she heard a knock on there door.

"I'll get it!" She yelled. Kait bounded down the hallway of the one story house and answered the door. There stood a middle-aged lady in green robes with a stern expression. Her hair was pulled back in a tight bun.
"Hello" she greeted "are you miss Robbin ?"
"Yes I am"
Kait's little brother came around the corner. "Who's this, sissy ?"
"This is ...."
"I am professor Mcgonagall" said Mcgonagall "I teach at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry"
"Oh joy, your a part of this prank to."
Kait's mum chose this moment to come out."be nice now honey"
"But mum" Kait replied "she's a part of the joke too" Angie looked at her daughter with a small smile "it's not a joke"
Kait's mouth went slack. "Well then" said Mcgonagall "let's get going to Diagon Alley to get your school things"
"Can I come to" asked William ,Kait's little brother asked.
"Ya, can William come too?" Asked Kait.
"Is he a muggle?"
"Muggle?" Kait questioned , cocking her head to the side.
"Non-magic folk" answered Mcgonagall dismissively.
"Well come on in and we'll see if he's a muggle or not" said Kait's mum.
Sitting on the living room floor, William scrunched up his face and held out his hand, clenching and unclenching his fist. Nothing happened. "Well I guess-" Mcgonagall was cut off by the living room window shattering. William looked quite pleased with himself.
"Well I guess William is coming also" Kait said cheerily.

"What are you wearing too the "dragon alley" or something?"
Kait and William's father had cut a big hole in the wall between the bedrooms, allowing the siblings to speak.
"Clothes" replied the young boy.
"Yes but what clothes?"
"Why does is matter"
In the end Kait wore a purple and gold jumper. It was much to big for the girl allowing her to wear tights. She looked quite foolish but was set on wearing it. William wore a pale blue shirt with a rubber duck.
The ran down the hallway. Kait picked up her brother on there way so they could go faster. When they got down , Mcgonagall stood up.
"We will be apparating" she stated.
"What's that?"asked William.
"It means that we will disappear and then reappear at the place where we get your sisters school supplies." Replied Mcgonagall.
"Miss Robin, when I place my hand on your shoulder, we will be off".
Just like she said, when Mcgonagall grabbed the girls arm they heard a crack and apparated away.
When they landed in Diagon Alley, William jumped out of his sisters arms as she was slightly green.
Kait fell to her knees and , how to say this, emptied her stomach. When she was done, they got to look around. Kait and William stared in awe at the place. As they were holding up the entry way, Mcgonagall started to walk through the alley.
When she turned back she saw the two children  just where she left them. The girl was crouched down and her brother gracefully jumped on her back. She hooked her arms together, under her brothers legs and around her stomach. The young boy placed her arms around Kait's neck and she faked a choking noise. William laughed and put his hands on her shoulders.
She walked forward and caught up to Mcgonagall.
"Where to first miss M.?"
"Please don't call me 'miss M.'"
"Okay sorry, where to first then?"
"You and mr.Robbin here go explore, I'll go to Flourish and Blotts to collect your things"
"Yes miss M."
Kait walked slowly through the crowds slowly. She stopped in front of a big white building labeled Gringotts. She saw a man with red hair there talking to nothing. "There's not no place safer than Gringotts, Arthur. Well accept Hogwarts, of course." The man looked around in surprise. "Arthur, boy , where did you go now son!?!" Kait saw a child who looked like a mini clone of the man come over. "I'm right here father" said the young boy. "Let's go son".
William and Kait passed a bunch of shops, staring and talking excitedly to each other. When they passed the owl emporium, William spoke up.
"So people bring pets to your school?" He asked.
"I believe so".
"Will you bring Caramel?"
Kait had nearly forgotten. Caramel was the siblings golden retriever pup. He was only eight weeks old.
"I not sure , William. Remind me to ask if I can". William merely nodded.
After a while Mcgonagall found the pair.
"Miss Robbin, we must get you a wand".
"At Ollivanders, right?"
"Yes, now let's go".
Kait walked into the shop and immediately knew she wanted to work here when she grew up. An old man (who didn't look completely sane) came out.
"Who are you?" He questioned.
"I am Kait Robbin" she replied.
"Are you a muggle-born?"
"Um, yes" Kait said "will it effect my wand?"
"No it's just I remember every wand I've ever sold and none from your bloodline".
"Oh".
Ollivanders handed Kait multiple wands in which nothing happened. As Kait was just about to give up hope, She was handed a wand that was pale coloured. She swished it around, causing multiple things in the room to change colours.
"This is the wand for you" he said, smiling widely. "It's Rowan wood, dragon heartstring core, 12 3/4 inches and surprisingly swishy". Kait thanked him, paid and left the shop. (Picture of wand below)

She met Mcgonagall and William outside. As they walked to the end of the alley, Kait remembered something.
"Miss M."
"Yes" replied Mcgonagall, giving up on getting the girl to drop the nickname.
"Will I be able to bring my puppy to Hogwarts?" She asked hopefully.
"I do not know but I will ask Dumbledore for you" Mcgonagall said.

After apparating to the Ribbon household, Kait ran to the bathroom.
When she came down, her brother was talking happily to there parents, in which Kait joined him.
There parents listened intently to there children. They were very happy for there daughter. Kait was very exited for Hogwarts.
