yamaguchi rapped on the door three times, still shivering a bit from the cold.

"come in," tsukishima yelled.

yamaguchi stepped inside and took off his coat. the scent of pine trees and warm cookies wafted into his nose. he slipped off his shoes and ran into the living room, where he saw tsukishima in a t-shirt and sweatpants, sitting next to the christmas tree.

kei looked up from his phone and smiled a bit. neither knew it, but both of their stomachs were stirring in anticipation of what was to come.

tadashi walked over and sat down, box in his arms, looking to the side a bit and blushing. kei reached over and put one finger on yamaguchi's chin, motioning him to look at the bespectacled boy in front of him. yamaguchi looked into kei's golden orbs and smiled shyly.

"here," tadashi said, quickly shoving his gift at kei, "merry christmas. sorry if you don't like it, tsukki."

kei opened the box and his eyes widened as he saw what was inside.

the box contained beautifully sculpted dinosaur figurines.

"wow, rajasaurus, spinosaurus, velociraptor, tyrannosaurus rex, triceratops...!" kei suddenly noticed he sounded very excited and happy so he returned to his monotone voice. "thanks, tadashi."

yamaguchi's eyes glittered in excitement. his lips stretched into a huge smile. "wow tsukki, i'm glad you like them!"

tsukishima scoffed. "anyways, here's your gift, tadashi. don't get too excited."

tadashi grabbed the box from kei and opened it up. inside was super smash bros for wii u, the game yams had been asking for for a long time.

"tsukki! this is so fun, we can play it together, thanks kei!" yamaguchi was all smiles and suddenly started rambling.

"i was worried you weren't going to like my present because i didn't know if you still liked dinosaurs and i didn't think you-" tadashi was cut off by kei's hand on his hair, yanking him forward to place his lips on his own. yamaguchi's eyes went wide for a moment before closing his eyes and moving his lips against kei's, softly. kei pulled away after a minute, flustered.

"shut up, yamaguchi. of course i liked your gift. i thought you wouldn't like mine."

"ahh, sorry, tsukki! i loved your gift!"

kei smiled and kissed tadashi on the cheek. "thanks, tadashi. i love you."

yamaguchi squeeked in surprise, face flushing red and eyes widening.

"i-i love you too, tsukki!"
