[Sasuke x Reader] Good Times and Bad Times [drabbles]

You're a Real Idiot

After that minor mission, Naruto demanded the Hokage that he gives them something more mission-like, and dangerous. For once, even Sasuke agreed, and you grinned when the Hokage decided to assign them a C-rank, which is something far better. Their mission is to escort Tazuna, a builder to the Land of Waves. Who in Sakura's opinion is an old fart.

Now in a predicament, Naruto is sleeping back in the hut, and everyone else got in their stances to protect Tazuna from the exiled ninja of the Village of the Mist, Zabuza Momochi.

To be exact, Sakura was just standing there, with Kakashi, as they all watched Sasuke in his brawl with Zabuza's right-hand man, Haku.

Clang!

"Hmph. I don't want to have to hurt you, but we are of different statuses. Forgive me." Haku said, behind his mask. He pulled his needle away from Sasuke's kunai and he activated his jutsu, Demonic Mirror Ice Crystals, surrounding Sasuke in a cave of ice mirrors.

Swish!

"Gah!" Sasuke coughed out, feeling a slight pain in his shoulder. A needle sliced through and cut his arm, and he received even more. Having a large number of needles thrown at him from every direction, Sasuke tried to dodge or block them off, yet Haku got through his every blind spot.

Another needle flew in the air and in moments, it got deflected, by your kunai.

"You're a real idiot, you know." You muttered, exasperatedly, having your back to Sasuke.

Having you to jump into the scene, you couldn't bear to see Sasuke get injured, and held your kunai in your hand, glaring at Haku from the mirror.

"I'll watch your back, Sasuke."

You leap into the narrow space and deflected a couple needles, failing to notice one secretly coming for you. Before it was too late, Sasuke threw his shuriken at the needle and dropped it to the ground.

"Who's the real idiot, now?" The raven duck smirked.
