My main obsession
When you want to change
you make it your new exception
But change is in secret as you grow
It's in the times you're really not noticing, that you know
When you stand up for yourself
Or yell self respect
When you don't run away
Not just yet
When you raise your hand in class
Your ideas are so so elegant
Character development is a secret message
Loving yourself isn't "Just In Case."
You enjoy life
You enjoy the times
That life gave you a chance to survive
Character development is race and traits
Character development can meet you in the face
Moving on, a broken heart put
in harms way
A song that anymore may choose
soothes the pain of the broken waves
A speech.
Being clean.
Character development is not always what it seems.
