CHAPTER 3
He quickly started toward the door because the cry was getting closer, he knew it was a ghost, an evil one.
Grabbing the doorknob fiercely Ben opened the door, but no, he wasn't safe, it wasn't even the door to outside, it was the door to the basement. His heart pounding, Ben had no choice, he had either go down or gave the ghost. And so he did, he went down closing the door behind him. Running with a heavy bag sure was tiring.
The cry was still ringing in his head, he couldn't get over it. Shining brightly, the flashlight Ben was using was using worked perfectly, but the surrounding was too full to see properly. As Ben was going down, he noticed that the basement was damp. Damp and smelly. Just then he remembered he had searched the whole house, but how come he never saw the basement. It was as if it magically appeared.
Confused he decided to sit down. But, before that he looked on the floor so he could sit somewhere clean. Something shiny caught his eyes, there were keys hidden under a pile if boxes...
