I tie my hair in a ponytail and grab the railing. I can here the muffled voices downstairs, but can't make out the words. I grab the railing and prepare to slide down when a hand places itself on my shoulder. I turn to face Fred.
"Hey," I smile.
"I think that maybe you should try another way," he chuckles.
"I will succeed," I state. "Without singing."
I slide down the railing and into the kitchen. Mum looks at me with her famous 'Really Abi?' face. I wave sheepishly while Sirius laughs.
"So," Lupin smirks. "Someone clearly needs Padfoot to teach how to sneak into a room."
"Nope," Mum snaps. "She doesn't need to know such things."
"But Mum," I whine. "I wouldn't try to sneak in if you just let me be part of the conversation."
"No. You're too young. And not part the order."
"So what?" I ask, crossing my arms. "I have dealt with Death Eaters and Voldemort must I remind you."
Mum points towards the door and I huff. I stop right at the entrance to the dining room and turn towards them.
"At least consider Harry to join. He is more of a fighter than me."
With that I head upstairs, hearing the older twins quarrel a bit with Ginny. I push the door open to see the three stop and look at me.
"Hello my god siblings," I smile, and curtsy awkwardly. Ginny holds out a hand and the twins drops a few coins in her hand. My jaw drops. They were betting on me. And worse, GINNY BETED AGAINST ME!!! I feel a bit hurt, but soon here Hermione shout "Harry" with joy. I quickly run over to the room to see the familiar messy black hair.
"Hey Boy Legend," I smirk.
"Hey Miss Siren," he laughs. "Any clue on what the adults are talking about?"
"Nope. Got kicked out."
Harry laughs and I smirk as an owl flies. To be more exact, Errol. The owl crashes into my arms and I take the letter in his beak. I hand the bird to Ron and practically run to the room Ginny, Hermione, and I share. I sit on my bed and open the envelope.
Dear Abi,
It probably won't be safe sending Errol out from now on. The Ministry is starting to check letters, so that means so is my father. Happy late birthday. Be safe and see you when school starts back up.
Sincerely your's,
Draco.I smile and fold the letter neatly, sliding it in my nightstand.
"Dinner," I hear Mum call. I practically run out of the room and slide down the railing. I land perfectly and sit next to my twin. Everyone gathers around the table as Mum places down the food.
"We'll go to the Ministry tomorrow," Dad tells Harry. Then, the adults, except Sirius, and Harry start arguing about whether or not he should be a member of the Order. I roll my eyes and chuckle a bit.
"Did you even consider the fact Abi and I have personally face Voldemort?" Harry asks.
"Oh. You missed my attempt earlier," I laugh.
"And you stopped after one try?" Harry asks, clearly confused.
"No. I've tried to be part of every meeting."
Mum rolls her eyes and we all laugh a bit.
