China x Reader

This is a Halloween oneshot, don't judge my timing, I know it's nowhere near Halloween.

As you finished up the final touches of your costume, you heard a knock on your door. Oh! That must be Yao! , you thought. You went and answered the door. "Hey, Yao!", you said, smiling at him. He blushed slightly when he saw who you were dressed up as. "Y-you look really cute, aru!", Yao said.

"Thanks. You look pretty good too.", you said. "Okay. Are you ready to go to Alfred's party?", he asked. You nodded and the two of you walked out to Yao's car and headed to Alfred's party. When you got there, Alfred stole you away from Yao and you somehow ended up with Matthew, your best friend, on the other side of the room. "Hey, (f/n).", Matthew said, he was a bit more confident around you because you two were friends. "Hey, Mattie.", you said. 

"So, Alfred stole you too, eh?", he asked. You nodded and sighed, "I just got here, and I haven't even gotten to hang out with Yao." Matthew looked at you and asked, "(f/n), do you like Yao?"

"Is it that obvious?", you asked. Matthew shook his head, "No, but I'm part French, and you dressed up as Hello Kitty. That's how I can tell." You nodded. "I always forget that, seeing as how you act nothing like your dad. So, what should I do about my crush?"

"Tell him.", Matthew said. "That's it? Just tell one of my friends that I'm absolutely in love with him?", you asked. He nodded. "No, he won't feel the same way.", you said. "How do you know that?", Matthew asked. You stayed quiet. "Go tell Yao.", he said. "I will, if you tell Gilbert you like him.", you told him. Matthew sighed and asked, "Is that seriously what it's gonna take to get you to confess to Yao?" You nodded. "Okay, I'll tell Gilbert and you tell Yao. Deal?", he said, holding out his hand for you to shake.

 You shook his hand and went to find Yao. When you found him, he was hiding behind Kiku. You were wondering who he was hiding from when Ivan appeared behind Yao and asked why he was hiding. You sighed and walked over to them.  Kiku walked away, knowing you were probably about to start yelling. "Hey, Ivan?", you said. "Da?", Ivan asked. 

"Yao's mine, now get. Or I'll get your little sister.", you said. Ivan left and you smiled at Yao. "You do realize that you said I was yours, don't you, aru?", Yao asked. You blushed and said, "W-well, I-Ivan was b-bothering you and I-I don't like i-it when h-he m-messes w-with you b-because I-I l-love y-you." Yao smiled. "You look really really cute aru.", he said then he kissed your forehead. "Wǒ yě ài nǐ, (f/n).", he said, then he kissed you.

Later you figured out that Matthew had kept up his end of the deal and told Gilbert about his crush and they were now dating.
