You guys have been friends pretty much your whole lives and that's how you know Kiku's dad and Kiku's dad could either be Yao or a stereotypical Asian parent.

Kiku's POV

I awoke to hear coughing coming from (f/n)'s room down the hall. I got out of bed and went to check on her. As I knocked on the door, I heard her sneeze. "(f/n), are y-you arright?", I asked. "Y-yeah, just a little under the weather." Her voice sounded hoarse, as though the coughing messed up her throat.

Normal POV

"C-can I come in? T-to check on you, of course.", Kiku asked. You blushed a deep red. "S-sure. I'm n-not undressed and the door isn't locked.", you said, curling up under your blanket. Kiku opened the door, turned on the light, and walked over to your bed. He sat on the edge of your bed. 

"(f/n), ret me check if you have a fever.", Kiku said. "Okay.", you said, uncovering your head so he could check. 'Oh my god, what about Kiku's thing about personal space?' , you thought. Kiku gently placed his hand on your forehead. "(f/n), you have a fever and I'm staying to take care of you."

Your eyes widened, there was no way Kiku's dad would approve of him staying home to take care of you, especially when there was a big test today. "B-but what about the test? Y-you can't stay here to t-take care of me. I'll t-take care of myself.", you said. "Īe, watashi ga taizai shite imasu."

"But won't your dad get mad at you?", you asked. Kiku looked down at you, pushing a few stray hairs out of you face. "Hai, he'll probabry get mad. But I rove you, so I'rr take that risk.", he said before leaning down and kissing you softly on the lips. You blushed and said, "Kiku,  y-you're gonna get sick like t-that." He smiled at you. "Do you rove me too?", he asked. You nodded. "Then if I get sick, you can take care of me.", he said before kissing you again.
