Hetalia is mostly boys, therefore a lot of the fans are female, but there are also a lot of males. Basically in a nutshell it is learning history in a fun, exciting anime way. With shipping.

It teaches us that we have no choice but to accept that we are all imperfect and different, but at the same time we are the same, if we just properly behave ourselves ten maybe the wars will stop. But that is not likely. And we're proud of it!

The fandom itself is very cheery and friendly, so if you join, don't worry, they don't bite. Hopefully. Because we all know there's that dark side...

The fans make a lot of fan made games like dating sims, fantasy RPGs, and then there's those horror ones like HetaOni, the Hetalia version of AoOni, and I tell you the Hetalia version is WAY better. Then we have the not-so-happy-shipping creepypasta story Episode 23.5, bit hey, everyone has some negative stuffs, but there's always positive!

The anime/manga/webcomic basically makes you wanna got ravel the world, you know? Like, "Aw man I sooooo love Italy and his pastaness! Now I wanna go to Italy so bad!!!!" so really, you feel like you're not the typical lays in bed all the time.

And hey, you can improve your history grades, too! Honestly, history class is more fun now, with all the giggling.

I mean seriously if your classmate is just giggling every frickin time during history class, then I guarantee you, that kid's a Hetalian. You can be the first one to answer the question, "Who are the main members of the Axis Powers?". And cultures. And languages! Now I know how to say Thank You in Japanese, Chinese, Russian, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Finnish, and so on! Like seriously I know a buncha words now.

I would recommend Hetalia to people who are bored and basically want an anime just for fun with no actual plot whatsoever. Also to the ones who love yaoi. Even though there is still normal ships like HunAus or PruHun. And some few yuri. I think.

Though if you're the type who loves anime that goes right into the plot with few fun here and there, then this is not the thing for you. Hetalia doesn't have a main plot, as it is basically just short stories. The original webcomic is basically just comic strips. That's it, no plot about whatever. Maybe there is, and they just don't focus much through it.

So there you go, want some gay shipping history class? Then Hetalia is the thing for you!
