A One Night Date

"But where are we going ?" you asked excitedly expecting a reply from him . "It's a surprise " Kyungsoo replied and began dragging you towards your room.

"Go get changed . I'm waiting down near the car " . Saying that , he left the room and closed the door behind him leaving you alone in there.

You were confused . You did not know where he was gonna take you so you couldn't really decide on what to wear either . You walked upto your closet and as you placed your hand on a black skinny jeans to pull it out , your phone vibrated. It was a message from Kyungsoo. The different ringtone that you had set only for his text , told you so. You reach out to your phone to read the message "And make sure not to wear jeans " .

Smiling to yourself , you go back to your closet again and pull out a light blue coloured dress. It was a quite decent dress for a 10 Pm outing . You sigh at your boyfriend's sudden plan for a surprise. He wasn't the type of person to hold surprises or go out for a night date.
Getting dressed as soon as possible, you leave the house making sure its locked well and head down.

Kyungsoo looks at you as you enter the car. As you get into your seat , you turn towards him and smile and he smiles back to you . Slowly , he approaches his hands towards your face and leans down towards you . Expecting a kiss , you blush and shut your eyes close but instead of finding his lips on yours , you hear a low chuckle and find a piece of cloth covering your eyes.

"Huh ?! What's this for ?" you asked him in a disappointed and embarrassed voice . You place your hands over the piece of cloth over your eyes in an attempt to remove it off but Kyungsoo grabs onto your hands and pulling them back , places them on your lap .

"I told you , its a surprise " he says and chuckles again.

"But..." you try asking again "No buts . Just wait for a while Jaeyeon , we will be there soon " he says and starts the engine .

On your way to your unknown destination , you tried asking Kyungsoo as to where you both were heading to , but all you got was a "It's a surprise" or "A little while more"as a reply . The drive was getting long and you were beginning to feel sleepy . As you were about to give into your sleep , the car comes to a stop . You hear Kyungsoo open his side door and then walking out towards yours , opens it too. He holds on to your hand and helps you get out of the car . You can feel the cold wind pass through your long , left open hair .

He slowly begins to undo your blindfold. Your eyes go wide upon seeing where you were . The beach. You have no idea which one it is but its calm and beautiful with no people around . You always wanted to be on a mid night beach date . Oh how badly you hoped for that ! With a big smile on your face , you jump towards him hugging him tightly and then run away on to the sand towards the water.

Kyungsoo smiles at your kid-ish gesture and goes and gets a big cloth bag out of the car and walks towards you . He searches for a spot to lay the mat down on to which you both can rest , making sure its distant enough from the water level . Removing the mat from the bag , he spreads it on to the sand . He sits down on the mat and looking your way , he watches you play with the water as you slowly wet your feet into it . Calling out to you , he gesture you to come sit besides him .

You reluctantly follow what he says and go and sit besides him . He lies down on the big mat and you follow track . You both lay there for quite a few minutes , silently watching the starts and the large sky as you both hold on to each others hands.

"So, you liked the surprise ?" he questions you breaking the silence while still staring at the sky .
"Like ?" you turn to face him " I loved it ! " you exclaim and he chuckles.

"Its not over yet " he says .
"Huh ?" you say in an excited tone.

Slowly , he sits back up . You follow him and sit up too . He looks your way with a smile "Lets dance " .
